[ Seorin's POV ]

"Seorin, wake up! Wake up!"

"Eomma, I still want to sleep...", I said, yawning, "besides I just became a CPA, right? I deserve some sleep after waiting for the results."

Ugh. I'm still sleepy. Veryyy sleepy! Guess what I did last night? I just watched a bunch of K-Pop music videos. Marathon! It's been a long time since I did it.

"Wake up! Com'on now..."

"But eomma..."

"Okay. I'll tell your appa you don't want to talk to him", eomma acts by leaving my room.

Wait. Appa?

"Appa?! He's on the phone?!"

All of a sudden, I'm in high spirits. Appa's on the phone! Gotta talk to him!

I jumped up on the bed and quickly rushed and forcefully reaching for the phone.

"Appa!"

"Seorin! How are you? I miss you! And congratulations for passing the board exam!"

"Thank you, appa! I'm very well here. Eomma and I are still the most beautiful creatures in the world!"

I heard him laugh. Eomma did too. "And I'm a CPA now! By the way, how's there in Korea?"

"Things are doing good -- well, very good. That's why, I've called", I can sense the seriousness on the last

part.

"Huh? What is it?"

"Starting next month, our family will stay here."

I can't say a word. I'm speechless. Am I hearing it right?

"Hello? Are you still there?"

"D-d-dr... W-w-we w-w-wi-will go to k-ko-Korea?"

"Yes, angel."

"Therefore, I'll be working there too?"

"Yes."

"Actually, I already had found a job for you. A friend of mine offered it."

"Really?"

"Yes, so see you soon, Seorin."

My dreams are really becoming true, at last. I guess it's my turning point in life. For now, I will just let everything unfold itself. For now, it's time to fulfill a promise: watch the Korean dramas I missed back then. I don't care if they are already years old but the important thing is I got to enjoy them.

"What if life is just a Korean drama after all? Isn't it? We laugh, we cry, we almost get hooked that those characters are real. We think about them, we care for them. All the world's stage and we are merely players in it."

Kill Me, Heal Me, Fight For My Way, Legend of The Blue Sea, Goblin, I'm Not A Robot, Hwarang, Scarlet Heart, Strangers from Hell... My list is endless. I have more or less one month to be able to watch them all.

Few minutes left and I will be breathing Korea. I peeked at the airplane windows and the island is glowing with rich yellow lights. It's beautiful. It seems like a galaxy that is on the ground and the stars grouped themselves together to form a city of their own. The sight of it is so beautiful. I didn't allow myself to blink so as not to miss every second of it. Slowly, we are approaching Incheon Airport and the moment me landed, I can't breathe. I don't know how. Is this even real? Am I inside a dream? Am I dreaming? Each step I take my feet takes me, excites me. Wow. The air. The very cold air slaps my face. I can feel how it enters my pores, very cold. It's my first time to experience to experience the autumn air and it is in Seoul. It feels like there is a big airconditioner around you blowing at its full level. It so cold but I love it.

Before I send application letters to the companies, I decided to go to the different shooting locations of the different K-dramas I had watched. I went first to the N Seoul Tower where Cheon Song Yi waited for Do Min Joon to come on their anniversary but he failed to stay long. They also had their own love locks with their names engraved on it. It was also a shooting location for My Korean Jagiya where Junho and Gia saw each other again after a long search. It seemed like impossible though because the last frame was set in a ferry in Nami island and then jumped on N Seoul Tower. Gapyeong is too far from Seoul! There was also a scene wherein Gia secretly attached her love lock to declare her love for her long-time idol and I will be also doing it right now hahaha. There were also a lot of lovers here, sealing their own locks of love. It was such a romantic and cheesy sight. Some couples get to the top just by holding hands and walking together to the top. I fell in love with the site because yellow autumn leaves were falling and the wind was so cool and all you have to do is to stop and cherish what is right now. I can't even speak the exact words. I wish I could do that too... Someday.

I got a marker and since love locks are expensive, I will just write in the woods, there are also many vandals. I think they can't afford those too. Ballpens were mostly used.

Jungkook loves Seorin.

That's it. At least, I already have engraved something here in Seoul. I hope this happens. I am only hoping for the best.

But ooppss. That what I will most probably do if I had gone here years before. But wait, why did I suddenly remembered him?

I wanted to visit Nami Island especially that it is autumn now and the leaves are in their very rich colors of red, yellow and orange. I want to see the fall there, it is so lovely. Again, it is too far from Seoul. Petite France is also in Gapyeong so I can't go, until now, Song Yi's outfits are on display. Too bad. Appa told me to just relax for even a week or two and proceed with applying for that job.

Then, I went to the Dongdaemun Plaza, another filming site of Cheon Song Yi's scene. The architecture is really amazing I was fascinated by how big it was. It looks so futuristic, a dome wherein you can enter and get out somewhere in the future. I can't believe I had arrived here in this place.

Next, I went shopping in the various shopping centers in Seoul like Insadong and Myeongdong. I do it alone but it's okay and convenient as well because I get to take my time. I had bought some items from Insadong because they are quite cheap and as for Myeongdong, I opted for cosmetics. The Face Shop, Etude House, Imnisfree, Peripera has a lot of boutiques here. The places are so big that there are a lot of choices. I just strolled the whole day visiting one shop and another. The fun thing I did in Myeongdong is that I only enter a store to be able to get the freebies or the lures they give to the person passing by. I just check their products for about three minutes and get out the store, having that one facial mask hahaha. I ended having about a dozen in my hand after I strolled in Myeongdong. The shopping centers are busy places though, there are a lot of people especially when night is coming. That time, it is more lively than ever. Different genres of music is played in each different store. But what I'm curious about is that why are there the same brands five store away? Haven't they conducted a feasibility study on this? What will be the profit distribution if there would be any? How does that work?

Also, Myeongdong offers a lot of street foods. You wouldn't find in the Philippines. Do you know what is my favorite? Odeng that costs a thousand won everywhere. I just love odeng, especially if it's spicy and dipped in tteokbokki sauce. I enjoyed a lot of Korea for the moment and I'm slowly understanding the whys in the culture. I hope to learn more as time goes by. As for now, I will just take my time to relax and maybe have friends with some locals around.

I can say that, I love Korea. It is in its most beautiful state in autumn. The leaves are turning orange until the trees prepare themselves for the winter. They seemed like garbage but for me its an art. The thing I love most is the wind. It is very cold and will get really though your pores, slaps your face and gives you a chilly feeling. The truth is that, Korea is not only beautiful in the photographs but going to Korea in autumn is most beautiful. I took a lot of pictures and it delights me so much. The autumn leaves made my heart flutter so much.
