[ Seorin's POV ]
I spent my summer in school, it's a summer class so that I can be admitted the incoming school year as a senior high school student. And I like my decision to go to the school. I gained new friends like Arnie. She's a K-Pop fan but I'm a J-Pop fan but it doesn't matter. As long as I already have a friend in here so I can't be a loner. Nikki is still busy with photography, she can't be with me. I think I love school now, the environment is really suitable for students and all you need is just around the corner.
Food? Canteen. When you are sick? Clinic. Hangout? There are a lot of table and chairs. Want to be immersed in silence? Library. I thought it's only in books. It seems like home to me. Really. On my way home, I can see Nikki taking pictures of the guardhouse.
"Nikki!"
"Oh, here you are! I'm busy with our assignment."
"What assignment?"
"We have to take pictures on what we like to advertise."
"Ohh..." I just don't want to disturb her.
"How's your first day of summer class?"
"It was awesome. I met someone named Arnie. She attends summer classes too. The sad part is that in her third year, she failed in Math and Science so she's studying it now to be admitted. And you know the reason why she failed? Because of K-Pop. Dang it. She was very amused when she saw me because she thinks that I'm a Korean idol, or like that. I'm a J-Pop fan and hopefully it will not happen to me. But anyways, she's still my friend. I'm not choosy. And I'm not that totally obsessed. Just a calm fan: I collect, read mangas and listen to music. But I don't think so, I was homeschooled, there is no pressure for grades and peers. Now I conclude that I must avoid K-Pop as much as possible, even though I'm a half-Korean. Not that I'm not proud of it, but because I'm scared it may affect me or my studies. It's addicting, that what I see on some TV series. Everything she talks is about K-Pop. She can even relate it in Mathematics! Nah.

She's singing it. "Arnie, stop and listen to the lecture."
"No, I'm not a traffic light", and she sings Gwiyomi again. "I really love this!"
I am now irritated. "Is that part of our Math lesson?"
"Yes, I'm adding numbers up to six!"
"Psh." She's really a K-Pop fan. Luckily, I'm not like that. She seems weird.

At recess, I asked her a question. "Is there a J-Pop lover in this batch?"
"I don't think so, but there is a lot like me. Look, if they find out that you're a half-Korean, they'll make friends with you. Seriously. Bear that in mind."
"Doushite?"
"Mwo?"
"Nani?"
Haha. We can't really understand each other. Language barrier.
