Chapter 32: After We Got Married

[ Jungkook's POV ]

"And to Jungkook, since We Got Married ended, are you and Iris in a relationship now?"

"No, not yet." I just said this naturally and the audience began to scream and they began teasing me again. I was shocked why I said those words. "I mean, we are good friends now. We are focused on each other's careers."

"Oh, wait, Iris is working for Bighit, right?"

"Yes, she's an accountant there."

"So, do you see often?"

"No, sometimes not, because our times would not reconcile."

"The last gift you gave to her was a portrait and she gave you a notebook. What is it all about?"

"Ah, the notebook. I immediately read it when I reached the dorm—"

"So you missed her right away?" The other members laughed.

"In the last episode, Seorin told him that 'Whenever you miss me, just read those. It contains my feelings.'" Jimin hyung imitated her.

"Ah, hyung", I turned to the emcee to continue explaining, "and the notebook contains a lot of poems about us. It's just... sweet." I think I smiled in that part.

"Honestly, sometimes I become jealous of Seorin", Jimin added.

"Can you give us a simple line there that struck you the most?"

[ Seorin's POV ]

After the show's last airing, a lot of viewers were sad because they wanted to see more of us. I heard there are even drama petitions. However, I'm not an actress after all! How much as we want to but Jungkook has to sacrifice this to be able to have time with Bangtan's schedules. After all, the group is where he started, right? He just can't be giving it less time especially he is contributing a lot to his group. Being a vocal, dancer and a rapper at the same time plus he is the maknae, and being a producer as well. Isn't he cool?

Luckily, the reason was very clear to everyone, I suppose, because there is a lot of articles about it posted in the Internet. Even in my accounts in the social media, many are wishing that they wanted to see more of the team-up. And once, I had tried to search ourselves in the Google, I'm just curious of the results. Fans all over the world had created fanarts, fanfictions, fansites and a lot more. They ship us a lot. There are even groups. I tried to read some articles too and they were suspecting that we are in a relationship now, for real, knowing that Kook has found his "first love". Cheesy. Hahahaha.

My life is back to normal now. I'm reporting to the office again, and do the daily paper works. No more cameras around. I experienced being like a celebrity for a few months and that's fine. Within those months, when someone recognizes me in the street, they would ask for a photograph and once I met someone who introduced herself as a fansite noona of one of Bangtan's fansites, I forgot the name. The picture gained notice to the ARMYs.

Meanwhile, Kookie and I remained friends. We communicate regularly through Kakao or if it's possible, I meet with them during our free time together, for old times' sake. I think this was the root of the relationship rumor between us two. We are both focused on our careers now, I think we got no time to think for such romance. We are really good friends.

Aside from being an accountant, I'm considering the possibility of publishing a book, some ARMYs urge me to publish the contents of my last gift to Jungkook after learning in an interview that he loves it so much. It contains simple poems that I compose every time we meet and also poems about him that I wrote back then when I was still a student. I just compiled it in a notebook. I think it's a cute, personalized gift.
