Chapter 27: The Day

[ Jungkook's POV ]

Today will be our wedding. We just want it to be simple but all our loved ones are invited. Some invitations were sent to Iris's closest friends but we are not so sure if they can come because they are in the Philippines and fully busy with their own career; of course my hyungs who promised that they would be all present for the incoming red letter day; a few friends in show business and of course, we included the show's beloved hosts that are been with us throughout from the very start of our story.

It had a Cinderella themed wedding party and I was dressed like the Prince Charming. The guests were asked to wear something elegant as if they'll be attending a royal ball just like in the movie. The hall was designed like a palace too. There are two thrones in front reserved for us both. I got this idea from her friends whom we contacted when we are inviting them. One of them said that Iris likes Cinderella so much.

We saw how the place was arranged because of the screens here inside the room where we are waiting. Iris and I just talk about how are we feeling at the moment.

"I'm nervous."

"Me too."

"Do you know that it will be my first time to dance with someone aside from my family?"

"No one has asked you for a dance yet?"

"None, even in high school. I joined the promenade, but I am just in the corner with my friend while the others are dancing with their partners already. Guess what we are doing?"

"Eating?"

"Watching 'Beautiful' MV", she laughed that seems like to be embarrassed.

"You can't really get full of me, can you?"

"Well, that time, I'm totally hysterical with you hahahaha."

"But, yeobo, you really seemed like someone who received a lot of flowers and asked by many men."

A staff entered and asked us to write our marriage vows together to be recited on the ceremony later.

The first part was our the entrance, with my bride. And it was followed by the royal dance or cotillion participated by everyone and the best part was when we are only left in the center stage.

"Good evening, everyone. Welcome to the wedding of our unmyeong couple, KookIs. They look elegant tonight, right? We have witnessed every step of their story that seemed like a fairytale. Cinderella meets her Prince Charming, at last. And now we are here to celebrate as they enter their marriage life."

"Good evening, everyone. First of all, thank you for being here and being with us tonight. I hope you enjoy the event and the rest of the night. Thank you for all the support and help you have given to us, our friends and our guests."

As everyone had settled down, a little movie was played before us, containing our past episodes in WGM that made them laugh and cry. I myself too, reminisced with those days as I am watching the screen. My hyungs were right, I really glowed. And Seorin is beautiful on the screen too. No wonder that they tease me a lot, it's only today that I realized. I was feeling nervous a while ago, it's my first time to be married but now I calmed down a bit seeing those memories, those precious smiles.
