Chapter 7
... There was a knock on my front door. I went and opened it. And right there standing in the middle of my door way was my bet friend Zayna she was outta breath so I let her come in. I locked the door behind me like I always do and said to Zayna
"What's wrong? Why are you outta breath?"
"He coming."
"What are you talking about? Come on spit it out"I said
"Liam"
"What about liam?"
"He's coming to find you he saw your Facebook statues and now he wants him dead" she said outta breath and pointing to Derek
I ran to the kitchen and told Maggie what was happening she told me a combination for a box in my parents room "37-29-15"
I ran up the stairs as fast as I could I ran past my door and into my parents room it was a large room with light brown walls and a beautiful bed on the left wall. I found the box Maggie was talking about and put in the combination "37-29-15" I said out loud I opened it and saw what my eyes couldn't believe
"Guns? But why?"
I grabbed a small hand held pistol and ran back down stairs to the kitchen where Maggie was standing.
"Here" and handed her the pistol
She looked to see if there were bullets in it "good" she said
She then said
"Take your friends upstairs right now there is a book shelve in your dads office go to the middle shelve and take out the book that says Anthony's Great Gift"
So I told my friends to follow me. I did just what Maggie told me. When I pulled the book the book case moved into a secret room I didn't know about we all walked in and looked around.
Zayna said "holy shit Lacey where did this come from"
I looked around the room it had about 11 foot ceilings the walls were painted neon pink, neon green, neon blue and neon purple. It looked like a kids club area only smaller much smaller. There were no windows just awesome lights an a disco ball. Then Derek told me to come over to where he was. I walked over to where he was standing. He was next to the juice bar which had a mini fridge with all my favorite drinks in it he handed me a letter that said "To: Lacey" I opened it up and read it out loud
"Dear Lacey
You found the secret safe place we built for you. This part is so if you are ever in danger we can keep you safe. We love you more than anything
Love
Mom and dad"
Now I finally understood why I could never go in my dads office unless it was a emergency. I pulled out my iPhone and called my mom
"Hello?"
"Hi mom it's Lacey"
"Oh hi sweet is everything okay?"
I told her the whole story how Zayna showed up outta breath and how Liam is trying to find me and how we found the secret room in dads office
She then said "honey me and your father built these rooms for you there are 4 of them. It's like a little house we had a fire and bullet proof wall built onto the house for your safe rooms"
"So your saying if the house blows up and I'm in a safe room I'm my going to get hurt?"
"Yes dear me and your father care a lot about you and would do anything to keep you safe. Well now you know about the secret floors enjoy them I love you sweetie. Well I have to go o a meeting bye honey"
We hung up the phone
Then we all started to hang out and play games on the tv and we just partied in my new safe room
Man I love my parents.
Then all of a sudden...............
