22. Twittering Trouble

Turning on his mothers laptop, I login. My notifications have blown up, over thousands and thousands of people were talking about me. Now, my fear and panic really start to raise.

"I'll take a look back at the history, Kyle, take care of her, she needs it.." His mother tells him, coming to my side he puts his arms around, his forehead to mine.

"It's going to be okay, it's going to be okay.." That's all he could say right now. But in his arms, I knew I was safe.

Physically, not emotionally though..

"I hope it is.." I close my eyes and feel Kyle's head move down to my neck.

"It will Rosalina," his voice scratchy, is he going to cry? I don't blame him, I'm trying not too, "just don't give up, please..?" He looks up at me with watery eyes, his lip quivers also.

"You two can go downstairs, I've got this, I think you do need that movie," his mom slides a twenty to Kyle, "for snack and pizza if you want it.." She flashes us a smile, we both say thanks and head downstairs. I hold on to Kyle like a life preserve.

"Rosalina?"

"H-huh?" Kyle's face get s a little red, but not as red when we first kissed.

"You want to you, know, cuddle, while watching the movies?" He asks, I nod my head letting out a small laugh.

"Of course Kyle," I head for the kitchen to get a drink, "you want anything?"

"Peace Tea, please," I grab two of those, Green Tea and Razzleberrry. I like the Green Tea one a lot, I know people would disagree with me. Coming back over to him I sit down and hand him his drink. We clink cans and take a long sip, it's more like who could take a longer sip and hold your breath while your at it.

I won.

Kyle almost choked on his tea, I have to help him out of it.

"You okay?" I ask, nodding his head be wipes his mouth.

"I should be asking you that right now," he looks deep into my eyes, almost to my soul, that's what it feels like at least, "are you okay, Rosalina.."

I know this isn't the time for crying but with this, I breakdown, hard, really hard. This has never happened before! The only hate I got was from my family and that was all. I cooped myself in my room and did nothing else.

Kyle's hand goes on my back and pulls me down on the couch, he already has the movie going. He holds me against his chest, his chin on my forehead. I just wrap my arms around his frame and hold on to him. There are only some people who are on my side, no one else is!

Why would someone do this?

How could they do this?

What did I do to them?

There comes a knock at the door, I let out a frightened scream at the sudden noise. Kyle holds me close, he stares at the door hard. His mother comes out and opens the door, her face is confused. She has never seen the person before, obviously.

"Yeah, I'm Rosalina's friend, Jordan, Kyle knows me too," his mom lets the other YouTuber in. He must see how bad of shape I am, for all he did was stand there.

"Hey," Kyle says trying to break the silence, it wasn't just driving me mad, that's nice to know, "how you man?"

"Wish better, how is she?" Kyle looks down at me with pain in his eyes. I shake my head, putting it back on Kyle's chest.

"Not good, at all, I'm really worried.." He admits, Jordan nods his head and sits down on the chair across from us.

"I think we all are," he looks at me, sadness filled them. I can feel it, "I brought popcorn if you guys want some, it's the bag kind, white cheddar."

I pull Kyle's hair, looking down at me I open and close my mouth, like I'm eating.

"Pass me some," Jordan opens the bag and goes to the kitchen to get bowls, pouring some in a small bowl he hands it to Kyle, "here, anything else?"

Kyle shakes his head, looking down at me, again, he starts to feed me the popcorn.

That's how I went to sleep, the sound of Kyle's heartbeat and the distant noise of sound effects in the movie.

I wake up, I look at my phone, there's all the hate notifications. I sigh and check my social media, maybe there was someone standing up for me. Maybe, Johnnie was right when he said the whole MDE was on my side. They were, which is awesome and scary, what if it ruins there rep?

'Here are other YouTubers fighting her fight, pathetic.."

'She doesn't even work with Kyle'

'She's to weird for Kyle to like, why are they even friends?'

'She's so stupid, hope Kyle dumps her ASAP'

I want to throw my phone across the room right now, these people! Who the heck even started it!

It had to be someone from school. But no one likes me at that school, it's not even a school. It's a torture house. A light tap comes on my shoulder, looking up I see Kyle's mom.

"Do you know a Riley Gish? Or Katie Yoder? Or an Alexandra Tellum?" Two out of the three names I know, the other one. Not the slightest idea.

"Most of them," his mothers face falls.

"Dear, they are the ones who started this mess," if Kyle wasn't holding me, I'd be on the ground, fainted. Why does it have to be them?! What did I do to them?!

"You don't need to know the other one Rosalina, she isn't worth your time or worry.." Kyle's voice jumps in.

"Why? She's part of this conspiracy!" Okay maybe that's too strong of a word but, it feels like one..

"She, is my ex, don't worry about her, she can't do anything to hurt either of us." His grip becomes tigger around me.
