A few days passed since Hazel left teaching behind.
Each day since she had been researching houses in the many vast forests in Beacon Hill's as Garrett went in and out.
She knew what he was.
Who he was before meeting her.
She tried not to think about his Nazi past and vengeful plans as she hoped that, that wasn't him anymore and if it was he made sure to keep her in the dark.
She wouldn't get involved unless she had to and he knew that.
He had told her that he wasn't the same as before which was slightly correct.
She knew when he lied which was a new ability.
She knew he was changing because of her and only her.
Hazel sat in his bed as she looked at a manor that had been left abandoned in the sixty's.
She looked at the pictures and knew it would need lots of work but the location and price were perfect.
Hazel walked into the living room as Garrett read the journal Mason gave her after finding it in her bags.
"I found a manor.
I looked at the images and it's in the middle of nowhere and at the right price" she said as she sat next to him.
"It was built in the fifty's and was left abandoned since the sixty's which was what you wanted but with that comes a lot of rebuilding" she said.
"Let's see," he said as he looked at the pictures.
"Is it a rented estate?" he asked.
"No.
If we buy it it's ours until we don't want it" she said as she placed her head on his shoulder.
"Is it available to buy on here?" he asked.
"No, we should need to go there with the person selling it.
If we book an appointment we can get in for today at four" she said as she ran her hand up and down his arm.
He booked the appointment before looking at her.
"We won't have this house until a month before you're expected to deliver.
Is that something you are ok with?" he asked.
She nodded "As long as it's ready and safe to move into when the baby is here it will be ok" she said.
She then kissed him before cuddling up to him as she put all her weight onto his side and rubbed her face on his arm, shoulder and neck truly showing that the bite had settled in but only partly.
He then placed his head onto hers as he opened the book he was reading again.
"Do you want me to read to you?" he asked.
She nodded before cuddling further into his body.
He began to read the journal entry as she listened while slowly falling asleep.
