Seconds passed as the doctor watched her as if she was a test subject as she looked at Garrett.
"If I die take care of them.
Please" she said.
"You won't die.
There are things in this place that will keep you alive" he said.
"Just promise me you won't abandon them," she said.
"I won't love a child that kills you," he said.
She shook her head before gasping as suddenly she felt as if she was being torn apart.
She cried out as Garrett groaned from the pain even if it was just a small amount.
"That's it.
Let the medicine swallow you" the doctor said.
She screamed out as the pain only got worse.
Her eyes shifted as she felt the baby move within her.
She felt the room spin as she couldn't hold back her screams.
"Give her something to take this away, doctor," Garrett said.
"There's nothing that can stop this," the doctor said.
She screamed out louder than before as tears rushed down her face.
"Make it stop.
Make it stop!" Garrett roared as his eyes shifted.
He couldn't take it.
Seeing her in so much pain was like nothing he had ever witnessed.
He was taking away her pain but nothing was stopping her screams.
The doctor laughed as Hazel's body pushed the baby out.
She then rushed up as she let out a roar as her eyes fully shifted and her perfect teeth turned into fangs and sharp canines.
The baby then shot out of her as she took a deep breath before falling back onto the bed.
She smiled as she heard her baby's first cry before everything went black.
Garrett froze as her arm went limp in his grasp.
"Hazel," she said as the doctor tended to the baby.
"Kleine Maus"(Little Mouse) he said as he no longer heard her heartbeat.
"No.
My love open your eyes" he said before growling.
He then rushed over to his old tank to see the green liquid that kept him alive for many years.
He took a syringe before collecting the liquid before going back over to his mate's lifeless body.
He jammed the needle into her chest before injecting everything into her.
He then looked at the doctor who was watching him knowing what was coming next.
Garrett charged at him before shredding him until he was a pile of bones and shredded organs and skin.
He then roared as the floor rattled.
He had never felt so much rage.
Garrett looked around before freezing when he saw the baby squirming on the bed in a pile of Hazel's blood.
He walked over to the baby before holding them.
He looked at the baby and noticed that they had her eyes but his blonde hair.
He then looked at Hazel knowing the chances of her waking up were getting slimmer by the minute.
"She wanted me to stay with you.
No matter how much I want to die with her" he said as he looked at the baby again.
"I won't let her down now.
I thought I would despise you but I can't hate anything from her" he said before kissing the baby's head.
