[ SEASON 1, EPISODE 8 ]

IT'S BEEN A FEW DAYS SINCE. It's been getting colder on Earth, showing signs of the upcoming winter. The hundred had finally gotten better communication with the Ark and they would be able to talk to their families today. The tent was occupied, so Alaska waited anxiously inside the drop ship beside Octavia. She was trying to be patient but the idea of her talking to her dad, for the first time in months, had kept her awake last night.

Alaska fidgeted with the hem of her sleeve -- covering her wounded arm -- as she thought of what she would say to him. Better yet, what he was going to say to her when he finds out someone knew about her blood. One of those people is a grounder forsakes.

Speaking of the grounders, Bellamy still hasn't let them go but claimed he wouldn't hurt them any longer. It calmed her but it still worried her. They're people had to come for them sooner or later, right?

Alaska still hasn't talked about what she almost did that night and no one asked. In honesty, she was glad they didn't. She'd rather forget it ever happened.

Finn has also gotten better health. She's only seen him a few times and enjoyed the talks they had especially since he didn't seem to know.

Interrupting her thoughts, she lifts her head at the sound of Bellamy coming down the ladder after visiting the grounders. He catches the sight of her and Octavia and sighs, putting his hands in his pockets, "You're still here?" He asks his sister who's been waiting there throughout the last few days. "I'm not moving until you let me up there to see him." Octavia crossed her arms.

"Get comfortable." He turned to walk away before pausing, "I let them live. Isn't that enough?" Octavia was about to speak when Alaska got up from her chair and started to walk out of the drop ship but Bellamy stopped her by grabbing her arm.

She looks up at him, "Good luck with your dad. He's going to be happy to see you." Her lip curves up into a smile and nods her head. Bellamy remembered and it made her heart less heavy.

As she walks past him now, she can hear the sibling bicker go back to where it left off.

CLARKE COMES DOWN THE SMALL HILL AND SEES ALASKA PRACTICING. Alaska swings her staff straight, diagonal, and down to her side and then pauses, brushing the loose hairs away from her face and behind her ear.

She was about to start again when Clarke called out her name, "Alaska!" She turns and looks up at the top of the hill to see the blonde, "You're next. Your dad's waiting." Alaksa takes a deep breath and meets Clarke on the hill.

"You know, you shouldn't be outside the camp walls alone."

"What is going to happen to me that hasn't already?" Alaska comments unbothered, shrugging her shoulders and heading inside the camp now.
