1: Orphanage

'Is this even reality?'

A girl was sitting on a a rooftop of a house staring at the sky, watching as the sun is setting between the buildings of the city, staring at the yellow color of the sun along with the color orange surrounding it with a blank, emotionless expression

*A Bell rang*

I lowered my head as i sigh

I stand up turning around and saw a opened window, i walked towards it but before i went inside i turn around head looking at the sky, now filled with stars

'The night has finally come'

i thought to myself as a gust of wind blowing my long, black hair. Staring at the night sky with my Bright scarlet eye color. I closed my eyes and turn my head finally comming inside

As i land on my two small feet i quickly went to the bathroom. I looked at myself in the mirror only to see a child, eyes as bright as a scarlet, long black straight hair, and a emotionless expression on her face

I slowly touched my face

I got out of the toilet and went into the kitchen, i sneakily opened the fridge and grabbed a piece of bread. I closed the fridge door only to see a man behind the fridge door

"ROSE!" The man yelled my name

"where have you been!? I've been looking for you everywhere!? I've checked the the living room, I've checked the bathroom, your bedroom, I've even looked outside just to find you!?" the man continued to nag as i continue to eat my food with a blank expression.

I stared at the man

"ROSE!? ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO ME!?"

the man calmed himself down "Rose you should eat more... you're still a 12 year old child . You are still growing, we want you to be healthy as you grow up so eat more next time, okay?" he said it with a smile looking down at me, i just nod my head at him then i turn around heading back to my room

This orphanage is different, or rather, they treat me different. Compared to the other children, i was the only one who gets a separate room, not that i am complaining though. I quietly went to bed as i stare at the ceiling

Thats right... i should eat more and grow up healthy for you to sell me in the end... this orphanage may seem nice and happy both in the inside and out but as you dig dipper, you will soon realize. This orphanage is associated with bad people, they buy childrens only to kill and sell them

I slowly closed my tired eyes and finally sleep

THE NEXT DAY

"Congratulations, Rose, Somebody has finally decided to adopt you!" The man yelled in excitement

"What!? really!?" i asked him confirming what he said

"YES! THAT'S RIGHT! He said he will pick you up at before evening"

surprised that I was chosen i asked him his name "What's his name?" i asked him with an innocent, curious, wide open eyes trying to act cute for him to answer

"Well..." the man rubbed the back of his neck looking away from Rose "I normally let you meet him first but since he is going to meet you soon i guess i can tell you, his name is Tsuto Mizaki"

"So he is going to be my new dad?" i asked him with an innocent look

"Yep! I should get you ready first before you meet him but for now I'll let you go have fun since this is the last day you'll be with us. Oh! I'll be leaving the house for now to go find you new cloths for you to wear"
