25: Welcome to Vermilla

"if you're renting a whole palace just for this 'simple' Event. Then It is not just a 'simple' get together." Dazai remarked

"I hope you don't mind but, please feel comfortable, all the guests are already Inside. So, shall we all go there before I close the door?"

The inside looks extravagant. The room is lit with a golden light, guests were wearing fancy dresses and suits with masks covering their identity

When Rose was walking at the hall, she saw the ceilings were up high and couldn't help her self but to comment on their work "My, my, the host definitely has taste" catching the man guiding them his attention

"You have a good eye, my lady. This Castles were made for royalty, just like us" The man said making Rose let out a smile. There was nothing she can do for now, other than sit and wait. But she wants to savor this opportunity in this extravagant ball made for so-called royalty

before they arrived at the main event, there was a huge door filled with beautiful design in front of them, and behind it is the party

They all stopped in front of it and before the man opened the door, he said one more thing to welcome their late guests

"Welcome to Vermilla" and just like that, both of the doors opened making a dramatic entrance. All of the eyes on the party was all on them. 'well that was unnecessary but cool I guess...' Rose thought not wanting the unnecessary attention

But it's great that she is getting attention. There's nothing she can do but act like it was intentional along with Dazai's great act too. the eyes on them were shifted into whispers, Murmurs were heard about who's the mysterious guests were

But their attention quickly focused on the man on top of the two identical staircase slowly walking down catching all of their attention including Rose but Dazai didn't even look interested, not even a slight

The man was wearing a white suit with golden chains hanging. the person has blonde hair so probably not from Japan

The host stopped walking in the middle of the staircase and first made an opening welcome speech to greet all the guests that was present on today's party

"Ladies and gentlemen, I welcome you all to Vermilla, the name of the castle, and I shall also thank you for coming here on a special day." When Rose heard that, she got an irked feeling about this

"I invited you all to witness my success, after the end of the party, you shall all see my masterpiece. You'll all be the first to witness" when they all heard, they we're all spendid to hear

The crowd murmurs from excitement "but for now, while waiting, we shall all enjoy ourselves, chat with each other, there's a bar, and eat food at the buffet just in the corner" the host bows and the crowd starts clapping and went on to their day

Rose glanced at her side and saw that Dazai is gone meaning he went on his own. Mori didn't give them any specific thing to do here other than come so she just started leaving the main event and explore the castle

When Rose was leaving, someone among the crowd who was holding a glass of champagne talking to a group  noticed that she was leaving

"I'll be Right back" the guy said leaving the crowd and ended up following Rose

"Damn it" Chuuya said kicking the car door. He's pissed that the guards who was guarding them stopped them from entering when Rose and Dazai walked inside the door closing him unabling him from entering

Kouyou, who is inside the car, waiting for Mori's or Dazai's instruction. She simply saw this coming so she stayed in the car for a while until order

'I wonder where Dazai is' Rose wonders, walking from room to room, walking wherever the hall takes her but while she walks she felt something as if someone's following her

Her eyes move to see the cctv camera on the wall. She probably thinks that's the reason why but her suspicion didn't fall and suddenly someone emerged from her back revealing himself

When Rose saw this she was cautious of this person following her, but he raised both of his hands past his shoulders surrendering and assuring her that he means no harm but she can't help it but to still be cautious around him

"Who are you, and why are you following me?" Rose asked the man cautiously making the man stop at a reasonable distance

"I mean no harm, don't worry, I don't wanna be involved with the Port Mafia" when Rose heard the word Port Mafia she became even more suspicious of his identity

The guy saw this and revealed his identity just like that "no need to feel tense, my name's Oliver Smith, nice to meet you" The guy offers a handshake

Rose examine the guy smiling still offering a handshake. She speculate that he isn't old but also not Young, probably around 20 years old. He also doesn't look threatening. If anything, he looks pale, frail and sick

Rose can't leave him hanging so she accepts his handshake and shakes his hand

"My name's-" Rose got cut off from the speaker announcing about something

"all guests, please return to the lobby in less than 20 minutes! I repeat all guests, please return to the lobby in less than 20 minutes!"

When the announcement was over, Oliver was still distracted, looking at ceilings

While on the other hand, Rose was relieved because she wasn't going to reveal her name anyway. Rose is her true name while Azuri is her fake name

"Let's go, we're all needed" Rose said walking past Oliver who just nods and follows her. While they were both walking back, she walked past a metal door. When she walked passed it, she paused since she felt something wrong,  bad feeling about this

Oliver noticed her stopping so he also stopped and sked what's wrong to which Rose told him "it's fine... Erm
.. you can go on without me, there's still something I wanna see here" Oliver was confused and said he will also come along but Rose told him it's fine

Oliver was hesitant but he had no right to stop her since she just met him so he hesitantly agreed. But before he left he checked up on her one last time before leaving

"Alright... Have fun..." Oliver carefully said before finally leaving Rose all alone

When Oliver left, Rose's attention quickly changed to the metal door. She slowly faced the door and carefully opening it
