26: a secret child

When Oliver left, Rose's attention quickly changed to the metal door. She slowly faced the door and carefully opening it

The room is dark but Rose didn't care. Rose has a special ability from her ability, she can slightly see in the dark and since she doesn't want anybody to know that she's here, it's better if she just don't turn on the light

She silently walks further in to the dark. There really isn't anything important there other than being a storage filled with cobwebs, box and dust but that didn't stop her from going further

'This might seem to be a storage but that's what they want you to think' Rose thought to herself. She then carefully spread out her ability like it was liquid coming out of her feet it

You can't touch the dark, you can't smell the dark, you can't hear the dark but they can touch you, they can hear you, and they can see you, every where you go...

Darkness is behind the light but what is infront of the light?

You can't have light without dark, same goes with 'you can't have dark without light'

Rose waits for a few seconds. Her shadow informs her and she quickly walks in a seemingly random directions passing box's

She suddenly stops at a rug infront of her. She slowly bends down and taps the rug finding something. She keeps looking patting down the rug until she felt something underneath all that fur

There you have it, a secret passage way down to a secret base or something

Rose doesn't seem surprised since she's well aware that she's living in an anime where this type of shit very common

Everything here is fake and not real. she believes that she's in a dream coma or something and thinks (hoping) that she'll wake up soon

Yes. I'm just playing everyone here is what she thinks

She let her legs in first before her whole body. The pathway isn't stairs but ladders which was surprising knowing that the host doesn't probably like this kind of play

Rose went down even further until her feet reach at the floor. She turned around away from the ladder and faced with something even worse

There were lot's of dead corpses inside cellars. Most of them are fresh and most of them are old, decomposed, corpse

Rose noticed that some of them had a an IV stuck on their risk. The sight was gross and ugly but she can't stay and mourn them. She has to investigate why those people ended up here

She further went to investigate. The road between the cellar was narrow and the wall of the underground cellar is made of stone bricks. Not only is the sight ugly but the smell is even worst

A sob was heard the further Rose went in. Sure she was startled but when the cry was beginning to be louder and louder until, a child was in the end of the cellar

'a child?' Rose thought, even more disgusted at the thought that they would experiment on childs

Earlier, Rose went inside one of the cellar and saw syringes, scalpels, bandages and etc etc

Rose walks forward towards the child who didn't immediately noticed that someone was there. When the child stops crying and lifts it's head, the child finally noticed that Rose is here

The child is startled of course but Rose first tried to calm the child down saying "Don't worry, I'm not gonna hurt you. Are you okay?"

The child was still trembling. Fear has taken over the child's body making her unable to speak

Rose saw that the child was dirty, has a messy tangled hair, ragged clothes and smells awful too

It's painful to her but that's the truth

She must've been here not too long since the lock on this cellar was different from the other's. The other cellars lock was rusty and easily crushable while her's was new

When Rose was talking to her, Rose Crouch. Rose stood up and took a hairpin from her hair and tries to open the lock and she succeeded with the help of the ability that is

The little girl was frightened when Rose did this so she Crouched down again to meet the kids eye. Rose knows that she is hungry because who wouldn't be in that situation so she gave her a bread and water

The bread and water came from the buffet from above. She didn't eat the food because she thought it might be drugged or something like that so she waited until some one took a bite. When someone took a bite she quickly took a couple bread for snacks later

Good thing that I smuggled a few bread before I left Rose thought watching the child hesitantly grabbed the cread from my hand and ate it

How cute but sad

I only have less than 15 minutes... But I can't rush

Rose sat besides her leaning her back at the disgusting cellar wall. This action made the child at ease so quickly

"So, tell me, what are you doing here?" Usually, people ask them their names but in this case, it's best to ask the situation

The child stops eating, then looked down at her food and starts crying. When the child suddenly cried, Rose was alarmed asking did I ask to sudden trying to calm the child down

It took another minute to calm her down and starts munching on her food. She finally swallow and answered her

"I was sold and was transported here" Rose couldn't waste any more time but she feels bad at her but has to continue asking questions

"How long did you came here?" Rose asked feeling bad

"J-just...." The girl pauses, she doesn't remember when she was here. Rose noticed that too so she just said to how long she thinks she's in here and the little girl said "it feels like a year"

Of course it feels like a year, especially for kids

Rose has a debate in her head whether she should help or or not but she slapped herself and tricked her self to make a fast decision ending up to save the little girl

Rose doesn't need anymore questions, this is enough. What's the point asking questions someone doesn't even know

"Do you want to escape?"

Rose asked the little girl making her widen her eyes not thinking that she was hearing things "h-huh?"

"do you not want escape?" When the little kid heard that she quickly turn her head from side to side "i-i didn't say that!?" The girl was shocked when Rose stands up and offers her hand to the girl

"Then what are you waiting for? Let's go"

The girl starts to cry again making Rose gently shout saying "please don't cry again!"

A brunette hair was faintly shown at the scene typing something at the CCTV camera monitor while watching the whole event behind the screen

And noticed that Rose was leaving a room with a metal door as a door

"Hmmm..."

Dazai tries.to search some of the cctv monitor to see if a cctv camera is in that room she specifically left and to his surprise there wasn't

"I wonder what she saw there"

He asked himself watching her going back to the crowds like nothing happened

"I guess we'll never know..."
