I stood there watching him accepting my fate. I closed my eyes preparing for impact but after a couple seconds I opened my eyes in disappointment(?). I felt nothing

I looked at where the military man was before but all I saw was a corpse of a man laying on the dirty floor and man taller than me besides it

"Are you alright?"

The guy was wearing a mask, a suit and has green hair was questioning Rose

Rose fixes her composure and nods at the mysterious man. The man lets out a relief breath

"What are you doing here? I thought you went on a mission?" Rose asked the man

"I already finished the mission so I volunteered to come here and help"

"Then,"

Rose gracefully glides pass the man walking through the hallway, her heals making a sound each step she makes

"I'll be on my way then, you're here, right? So I'm not needed here anymore, bye." She kept walking forward not sparing him a glance

"Eh-!? B-but aren't you glad to see me?" He turns around and saw that Rose didn't stop

"Aren't you going to praise me for doing a good job?!" He shouted trying to grab her attention and he almost succeeded when the sound of Rose's step stops, she stopped walking for a brief moment
