"I said, get away from me!" Kaldor continues to shout.
Tears are now streaming down your face. You look down at your violently shaking hands. "I'm not trying to hurt you, Kaldor!"
"Oh, so you just happened to push your enemy against the wall using your damn powers!"
"That's never happened before!"
"How am I supposed to believe you?"
You lean down to look at his injuries and lower your voice. "You don't have to believe me."
You notice that the bleeding his coming from Kaldor's head. He's clutching it, and you see blood pooling covering his hand.
"Do you want me to call one of the guards?"
Captain Kaldor speaks through heavy, labored breaths. "Just leave me here to die. Isn't that what you want? Isn't... isn't what you've always wanted?"
You don't know how to respond. Is that what you've wanted?
"Just leave me, L/N."
"No." You say, helping him stand. "You saved my life. I'm returning the favor."
~
You feel awful just looking at Captain Kaldor. It's an odd feeling, being guilty for hurting him.
Kaldor groans. "Shit... it hurts."
"I'll get one of your guards. I can confess for-"
"No!" Kaldor shouts. "No. If I die, it's not going to be in a goddamn Imperial base."
"It doesn't sound like you have the loyalty of my father." You tease.
"Shut up, L/N. No soldier wants to die here."
As you help him walk to the door, you say, "Everyone will see us. They can help you."
"No. You've been pestering me about seeing your father. We need to do that. He'll be dead if we don't go now."
"So you wanted me to get away from you, and now you're helping me?"
"Don't think anything of it, Jedi."
~
"Press... press the button on my comlink. I'll distract everyone."
You press the button on his comlink. Captain Kaldor then says, "All soldiers. This is Captain Kaldor. There is a situation three klicks south of the base. A group of rogue clones is attempting to breach our base. I repeat. All units, make your way to the situation."
"That should keep them busy." Kaldor says after you turn off his comlink.
"Let's hope that's not my squad..." You mutter.
You open the door to the hallway and check to make sure it's clear.
"Where's the medical facility? You'll bleed out if we don't get you some stitches in your head."
Captain Kaldor weakly points to the right. "Straight... straight down that way. The first room once you take a left from there."
You would walk faster, but you're also supporting Captain Kaldor. He's continuing to bleed. You need to get him medical attention, and fast.
~
Once you get into the medical facility, a nurse rushes over to you.
"Leave us!" Captain Kaldor shouts at him.
