Today was the day. The day of the Hashira Meeting. It turns out Tsuguko were also allowed to attend as well. So Shinobu would be with them. This would be Takeyasu's first meeting with the Hashiras and a taste for what would become his future.
From what Shinobu was told, Kanae was respected a lot by her peers and not just for looks. She was an amazing swordswoman and killed a Twelve Kizuki on her own.
Soon, they get to the meeting point and wait for the other Hashira to arrive. First woman to arrive was Itsunori. She was sharpening her blade and talking to Kanae about their respective missions.
Hana: So, what was the demon you faced like?
Kanae: It wanted to gouge out our eyeballs. All the demon slayers we sent, it did that to them.
Hana: Oh my god! Well, my demon burned down 2 villages.
Takeyasu was looking around for a Hashira to talk with, and soon he came across one with pink and green hair.
Takeyasu: Hello. I'm Takeyasu Tatsukami.
???: So you're the master's nephew?
The girl turned around and when Takeyasu saw her, although he wasn't entranced like with Kanae back then, he was certainly aware of how cute the girl was. But also of how her uniform was having her bust nearly pop out.
Mitsuri: Hello! I'm Mitsuri Kanroji! Good to meet you, Tatsukami-kun.
Takeyasu: You too, Kanroji-san. Are you a Hashira?
Mitsuri: Yes! I am the Love Hashira. Are you a Hashira?
Takeyasu: No. (Not yet.)
Mitsuri: Also, I hear you're the nephew of the master. Is that true?
Takeyasu: I'm related to his wife. I'm her nephew, but he treats me like his own.

Mitsuri: That's so sweet!
But both Kocho girls notice Takeyasu talking to her and Kanae suddenly grips her sword.
Shinobu then decides to talk to Mitsuri. The Love Hashira was one of the few friends she had since Kanae introduced her to her little sister.
Takeyasu liked her too. She was cute, fun to be around, and similar to Kanae. The demon slayer then takes a walk around and runs into the giant man with yellow hair.
Takeyasu: You're Kyujiro Rinsoku?
