While Kanae and Takeyasu were helping get food and farming supplies for the colony, Kagaya was looking over the construction of Mist City.

Mist City was a secret safe haven for Demon Slayers. They could recover, have a place to live, train, and more. It was also the place housing the soon to be Dragon Breathers Takeyasu would look over and maybe take. It was once ran by Mayuto Kunimura, but he retired in favor of a new host who was lazy and arrogant.
Due to this, Mist City fell thanks to the poor leadership but also from Muzan and some Upper Rank Demons slaughtering them all and the Ubuyashiki Family lost a major asset in their fight against Muzan. Over time, not only did the smaller villages get abandoned, it was soon forgotten by the Demon Slayers while Muzan still remembered and made sure no one could even get close to it.
However, ever since Yasu was able to obtain a map to it, he was able to get back the breathing style thanks to the help of Shinobu and Kanae. Not to mention Kagaya decided to repair the village once they managed to overtake it and find an amulet that was able to take them there.
He currently sent his nephew to retrieve seeds and other foods as the current supply would run out and they needed a sustainable supply of food.
Kagaya: (This city is going well. But I wonder where my nephew is with the supplies.)
