I Grew Up

Heres a gift
Happy Birthday
I hope you like it

No, why would I, there's nothing significant about  it

What do you mean?
Here's the gift
Don't you see?
Its a heart made of pure gold

One of the richest things
Man could own

Do you think I'm stupid?
Do you thing I'm a fool?

There's no gift
Nothing
Nothing at all

It's empty
Just a box made of cardboard nothing more
What good is this to me?
It's worth nothing don't you see

That's a lie
Because it holes a treasure greater than all

So even though it's just an ordinary box
It's holes a gift so pure and true

You have to explore
And the unknown will be made clear to you

I hope that you receive the message I'm sending out
Because if you dont
You will walk blind and remain a fool

For an ugly display brings about treasures unknown
So don't worry my friend them go
Because the unknown was in front of them and they remained a fool

For you might not be the first or second one to be chosen
But my friend, your heart is golden

So you're telling me if I gave you a box
Rapped in black and gold

You'd be glad to get a hold
But when you look inside
There's nothing to be seen
Just empty and dark but least you got your dream
