The Dick

I was minding my business
Listening to a song and thinking about all the things that could go wrong
The day had just begun but it weighed on me like a ton

Doing the only thing that gave me peace
Listening to music makes me feel at ease
But no rest for the wicked the universe decried
It sent you to disrupt my equilibrium
And I was finally at peace
I had forgotten about all the resent events

But you reminded me of all the past incidents
You're arrogant and very annoying
I don't what to say
Also it was the start of a bad day

Although you reminded me of my bad luck
I still laughed and blushed
I still stayed engaged
It was as if you were a new book
And I was so interested so I began to flip every page

Every time I think about it, I smile
Because whenever I'm having a bad day
You're always there and have something to say
I might call you a dick
But our meanings and perspectives are quite different
Because you might think I find you annoying and I really do

But you're a dick that I look at with a twingle in my eyes
You are the dick that wipes away my tears when I cry
So continue to blob away
I'll pause the music and put my airpods away
Because you have my attention and my heart in every possible way
