Nova Starlit —
Maddie and I always had this sort of truce. That if our idiotic partners ever decided to try to harm us in any way, we'd already have self-defense classes to the side. And by self-defense classes, I mean me teaching Maddie pressure points. "Are you really sure this is necessary?" Maddie asked, looked at me with worried eyes. "Yes, of course! I don't want to find you dead one day. If you've been telling me what's true–he's going to break this sort of truce you both argued over." I called out, walking out of the room holding an empty glass and inside a suit. "Pretty accurate representation, huh?" I said, fixing the tie as Maddie scoffed. "All you did was put on a suit and slick back your hair. You did nothing." She said as I rolled my eyes. "Doesn't matter–this is a sort of scenario we're playing," I said before I began to try to remember how drunk Red was that one time. "Ok. I'm—I guess I'm ready." She cried as I nodded. Walking back into the bedroom before opening the door harshly. Stumbling into the room making clogged wails. And then spotting Maddie and trying a way to fit a depressive rage. It was sloppy, sure, but seeing my training work into Maddie made me feel better about my somewhat rude representation. I was rather pinned down onto the floor, my hand spiraled out as I grinned. "Yes! You did it!" I spoke as Maddie breathed heavily. She pulled her knee off of my chest and lent me a hand to help me up. She grinned as I whipped off the dust that collected on the suit. "I really don't see why I still need to know this–but it helps the anxiety of the thought subside. But–Wilbur's never came home drunk." Maddie said, watching me quickly remove Glam's suit. Sitting back on the couch with a tank top as I shrugged. "You can never know," I mentioned as Maddie rolled her shoulder. "I'm going to go see if Drew didn't wake up to that." She commented as I smiled. "I highly doubt. But he's gonna learn about his Mom's new self-defense. Taught by the one and only–Aunt Nova." I said, fanning myself with an extra magazine. Before watching Maddie chuckle a bit and enter the open bedroom.

Maddie Beloved —
Tonight was one of the days where I'd joke about Wilbur coming home at midnight. But the more time grew, the more I felt my heart race. Where is he? And why isn't he coming home at the time he promised for tonight? We were going to go out for dinner, yet here I was all dressed up staring at the clock. Picking at my hands and new nails, before sighing and walking towards Drew. He was awake still in a way, I planned to put him to sleep towards the arrival of Wilbur. But it really seemed like that wasn't going to happen. I sighed as I bent down to Drew who was more focused on his toys than anything. "Where do you think Daddy is Drew?" I asked as Drew realized I was there and smiled. "Dada!" He cried as he giggled and jumped in his little seat. "Yeah, could you believe him?" I baby talked–kissing his head and then his ears. Drew was giggling and smiling until the door announced itself.
The man has returned home. Drew stopped, turning to face in a way. "Dada?" He cried, sounding slightly confused as I sat up and approached the door quickly. "Wilbur? Is that you?" I asked as I spotted him leaning against the doorframe. His eyes suffering, trying their hardest to see but he had no glasses on. "Wilbur!" I wailed as I grabbed his arm to try to pull him in. "Mad–" He started before recoiling and vomiting to the side. Trying his hardest to hit outside the door, only missing and launching vomit at the door. I frowned at the sight of it missing, before smelling his heavy breath. Booze. My heart sank as I felt transparent tears build. "Wilbur! Are you drunk? Are you okay? Your glasses are gone and your clothes are torn almost!" I cried, holding him and trying to push the tall man inside. "I–Im sorry Maddie..." He began, before gargling into his already apparent tears. "I dont know how this happened–I messed up. I messed up so badly." He cried, desperate to try to clear himself. My eyes shrunk as I shook my head, trying my hardest to ignore what was in front of me. "No–No! You—Please, Please..." I wailed, grabbing his shirt and shaking him. His body was jello, shaking and vibrating with each violent shake I could distribute. "I was almost home–I swear Maddie I promise you..." He began, not moving his head anywhere else but to look into my eyes. His eyes stung with red at the corners as his lovely purple eyes began to nearly drain. The vibrance of life was being slipped and lost with time and addiction. "Why? It's nearly...fucking 11! We were supposed to be out, eating, drinking, enjoying each other's time, and yet here you are..." I said, slamming my hands on his chest. Before feeling his weak hands grab onto mine. "Maddie–I was drugged–I...I have no other way to say it but I went to talk to Red and–" He began, his lips patchy and slurred. I shook my head before Wilbur stopped trying to explain himself as he grew frustrated. And simply the drunk man in front of me grew into a violent beast.
