I was able to bring myself to go back home, I felt exceptionally terrible for ruining Thanksgiving. I walked inside and was met with a quiet house, I found Darry sitting in the dining room just sitting and staring at the spread on the table that he had spent all morning setting up. I sighed, "I'm...I'm so sorry Darry, I ruined Thanksgiving," "You didn't ruin Thanksgiving Steph," "Yes I did! And I feel terrible, but you have to know why I did what I did, we both know that I didn't cheat on Steve," "I know you didn't," "Then why did you yell at me?" "Because you didn't need to hit her," "Trust me Darry, I did," "Look I know you don't like her, but that doesn't mean you can blame her. Maybe her brother decided to kiss you and she just thought you were cheating and wanted to protect Steve," "Darry you have to be joking." He sighed, "Nancy makes your brother happy, I've never seen Sodapop happier," "So you're just going to take Nancy's side?" "There are no sides, let's just stop talking about it." I scoffed, "Where's everyone else anyways?" "Dally, Two-Bit, Soda, and Steve all went to Steve's place. No clue where Nancy went, and Kylee, Ponyboy, and Johnny said they were going into town," "What?!? Where did they say?" "They didn't say much, just said they were going into town."

I ran outside and off my porch and immediately ran into the three of them, Kylee happily spoke, "Steph!! Thank God you're alright," "Where were you guys?" "We paid Bryce a little visit, he said he's gonna get Nancy to confess," "She won't," "He said he'll do whatever it takes, even if it means destroying her." Ponyboy put his arm around me, "Are you okay Steph?" "Eh kinda, so..did Steve break up with me?" "Well, Nancy told him that you've been cheating on him since the moment you got here," "And he believed her?" "Sadly." I covered my face with my hands, and tried not to cry. Kylee softly spoke, "Steph it's okay, once Nancy confesses everything will go back to normal," "But it won't, Soda's head over heels for her...he's not going to believe that she could or would ever do something like this, and besides...he hates me so much." Ponyboy stepped in, "Steph he does not hate you," "Yes he does! He's hated me since I got home," "Because he knows you don't like Nancy, and he knows she's bad, he just doesn't want to believe that he's going to get his heart broken again," "So what do we do? Because he's not going to believe anything that Nancy says, he thinks she's Jesus Christ." Johnny quickly spoke, "Guys...I think I have an idea."

4:30 pm

Some of the boys and I were all having our own little thanksgiving at Steve's place with his father, it wasn't our usual tradition. It was odd, because our usual tradition consisted of us at my house...but it just couldn't be that way this year. I was sitting in Steve's living room by myself, Steve walked in and sighed, "You alright bud?" "Eh...I just kinda feel guilty for yelling at Stephanie like I did, but I had a reason. She hit my girlfriend! And I don't know why, I mean there is proof Steve..Stephanie cheated on you." He sadly looked at me, "I just don't get why...I thought she loved me," "She does Steve, I'm sure she has a good reason for all of this," "Look, I need to change the subject. Your girlfriend told me that she's in love with me," "What?" "Soda, Nancy kissed me." I looked at him confused, "W-when?" "Earlier today when I was on the porch, she told me that Stephanie has been seeing Bryce since she got here," "What? No way!" "This whole thing is just giving me a headache, oh and I'm sorry I had to tell you like that...about her kissing me," "Oh...it's fine, thanks for telling me." I stood up and sighed, "I should probably go see her."

5:00 pm

I walked into my house with anger, I couldn't find my brother anywheres. I stormed upstairs to my room and was immediately met with him sitting on my bed, I glared, "Jesus Christ Bryce! I've been looking for you all afternoon, how dare you just leave me like that at the Curtis's!" "I had to Nancy, what you made me do was just...wrong," "Why? Because I took down Stephanie? She deserved it Bryce," "But in the end it didn't even matter, you kissed Steve and confessed your love to him and guess what? He still doesn't want you, you ruined his relationship just for him to still not want you." I gave him an icy stare, "Your just as guilty as I am, you kissed Stephanie," "You blackmailed me," "It was my only choice Bryce! I deserve to be with Steve Randle, not Stephanie," "And why do you believe that?" "Because I'm prettier, and I care more about him," "Shut up Nancy." I looked at him appalled, "Excuse me?!" "Listen to me, you are going to confess to Sodapop and Steve about what you did, and you're going to leave Steve and Steph's relationship alone," "Who's side are you on?" "Not yours," "Your only doing this because you like Cherry," "Not the point Nancy, your confessing," "And what do you want me to say? Hey guys! I fucked with Steph and Steve's relationship, I made my brother kiss Steph so I could make it look like she was cheating. Is that what you want me to say?" "Yes!" "No." Suddenly  my closet door opened and Soda stepped out with Kylee, Steph, Ponyboy, and Johnny behind him. Sodapop sadly looked at me, "Looks like you confessed already," I shockingly spoke, "S-soda!? Baby, I can explain-," "Explain how you fake dated me to get closer to my best friend? Explain how you ruined my sister's relationship? Explain how you kissed Steve and admitted your love to him? Can you explain all that?." I angrily looked at my brother, "Bryce, how could you do this to me? How could you ruin me?" He sighed, "Because I don't really like you." The gig was up, Sodapop knew the truth, he knew everything and that meant that everything I had done to ruin Steve and Stephanie was pointless. Everything was over.
