Chrono x Tokoha : The Challenges

Turn 9: Cool Date

It's summer and it's definitely hot. But that won't stop Chrono asking Tokoha for a date... a cool date to be precise. He will took her to an event near his apartment where there will be a lot of food stalls that sells some cold or cool stuffs...

Chrono will go to his house first. He was hesitant at first since he doesn't want her parents to see him asking their daughter on a date. But luckily, both of her parents currently away so actually Tokoha is alone in her house...

Chrono: "Uhm... is it okay for me to come to your house?"

Tokoha: "What are you talking about? Of course you can! Afterall you've been here before."

Chrono: "I know, but..."

Tokoha: "It's alright, my parents are away for a few days so currently I'm alone here."

Chrono: "So is that why you accepted my offer to spend some time together today?"

Tokoha: "Well that's one of the reason. By the way since you're here, want to have a look around my house?"

Chrono: "Sure, I have no problem with that."

She guided him around her house. It's a simple, traditional, but quite a wide house. It has two floors and Tokoha's room is on the second floor. There's Mamoru's room there as well but since he lives alone now, no one is sleeping in that room unless he went back home...

He went inside her room and it's such a tidy room. Actually similar to his room but with more stuffs of course...

Chrono: "You really have more or less the same type of room as I am."

Tokoha: "Yeah, I've seen your room before so I can agree with that."

They went back to the first floor and saw some of their family pictures hanging on the wall...

Chrono: (Looking at those pictures) "I must say... you really have a nice family."

Tokoha: "Hm? Oh yeah... I'm very grateful for having such family."

Chrono: "I wish I have this kind of family..." (Sad)

Tokoha: "Chrono... I'm..."

Chrono: "Don't be, afterall I found my happiness elsewhere." (Smiling)

Tokoha: "But can I ask what really happened to your parents?"

Chrono: "My father disappeared when I was little, after the incident with Ryuzu to be precise. I'm sure you heard the story as well."

Tokoha: "Yeah, I still remember that."

Chrono: "As for my mother... she passed away a few years after I was born. I never really know what's the cause... but you can say that I really had a rough childhood. Mikuru herself had a rough time raising me while she herself is still in high school."

Tokoha: "I can understand now... your personality when I first saw you."

Chrono: "Yeah, thanks to Vanguard... I met you, Shion and others. I have changed and I'm grateful for that. You all are my happiness right now and I can't afford to lose that happiness..."

Tokoha: "You won't! I'm sure of it!"

Chrono: (Smiling) "I know, so I guess you're now ready... shall we go?"

Tokoha: "Oh, right!"

They went to the event which is near his apartment. It's called "Summertime Coolness" and there are a lot of stalls there. Whether it's food, clothing, mini games and many more...

Tokoha: "Wow, there are a lot of stalls here..."

Chrono: "Yeah, you're right. So, shall we check those stalls?"
