Chrono x Tokoha : The Challenges

Turn 19: No Signs

Things can changed quite a lot in 5 years. First of all, Shion has been announced as the vice chairman of Kiba Corporation. He's only 23 years old but his experience and knowledge after working from such a young age has proven that he's worthy of the title. But what hasn't changed is that he's still in a relationship with Am Chouno, the former idol who's currently taking a break from idol works

Kazuma has joined the Association on the new project they are currently working on. An astronaut space program where they'll pick the best astronauts for their research purposes on Cray. Just like Shion, he's still with Luna Yumizuki who's also currently taking a break from idol works...

Taiyou wanted to become the United Sanctuary Branch Chief but he still has a long way to go. He has been training non stop there and learning how the branch works. And he's still with Saya Yatomi who unlike Am and Luna, still busy with her idol works...

Some things have changed for the others as well. Mikuru and Shin married a year after Chrono went to America and both of them have been blessed by a young girl a year after they married. Mayumi Nitta... she has her mother's hair but her looks really resemble her father...

Kamui has been appointed as the manager for Card Capital 2. Since Shin has become the owner of the second shop. With Misaki still owns the first one with Miwa being sub sub manager there as usual...

As for Tokoha, well she has took the Euro League by storm. In those 5 years, she manages to become a two time Euro League champion. Beating a lot of famous and strong fighters and that includes Jaime Alcaraz...

Kamui: "Two in a row huh..."

Taiyou: "She's getting stronger and stronger is she?"

Kumi: "Yep! Tokoha is really the best!"

Shion: I wonder... if he's watching somewhere...

Kazuma: "What's wrong Kiba? You're thinking about something?"

Shion: "No, not really..."

Taiyou: "I wish Chrono can see this... although I do wonder if he's watching..."

Kumi: "Shindou huh..."

Kazuma: "It has been 5 years... and we haven't heard about him ever since. What's wrong with him? Does he know everything that happened while he's not here?"

Shion: "I don't really know..."

After 5 years, the only thing that is still unknown is Chrono. Nobody, apart from Aichi maybe... really knows about his condition right now. They didn't know if he has graduated or is he alright there. No signs whatsoever and it looks like he's just basically vanished from his friends, family and his girlfriend who at the moment doesn't really know about their true relationship status...

And ever since Chrono went to America, Tokoha has changed quite a bit in terms of personality. She's still the same Tokoha as before who's a strong willed person but she kinda lost her bloom a bit. She's not as happy and cheerful as she used to. Even though she already achieved her goal to become a pro fighter and Euro League champion...

At Anjou's Residence

Mamoru: "You really have grown stronger than ever, Tokoha."

Tokoha: "Hehe, well if you're not careful then I might surpassed you soon, big bro."

Mamoru: "Oh I'm not so sure about that."

Misae: "You two, dinner is ready!"

Tokoha: "Coming! I guess we can have our cardfight after we eat dinner..."
