Chrono x Tokoha : The Challenges

Turn 15: Decision

Yoshiaki: "Hmph, so you were listening. At least I don't have to repeat myself."

Chrono: "You can talk some bad things about me, I don't care about that because I deserve it. But... if you disrespect my father and my aunt like that... this time we do have some big problems..."

Tokoha can sense the anger in his look. She never really saw him with those facial expressions...

Yoshiaki: "You dare to talk to me like that? See Tokoha, this is what I meant earlier."

Tokoha: "Chrono, we will talk later..."

Chrono: "Yeah we will talk later... after I deal with your father..."

Tokoha: "Eh?!"

Yoshiaki: "You got some guts boy, so what are you going to do now? You're going to punch me?"

Chrono: "You disrespect my father while yourself is not perfect either. So what? At least he admitted that he was wrong..."

Yoshiaki: "You really dare to talk back towards elder huh?!"

Tokoha: (Trying to stop her father) "Enough you two! The neighbors will hear you both!"

Chrono: "I don't care! Let them hear all about it! At least they'll now know just how bad of a person you are!"

Yoshiaki: "You're really getting in my nerves now boy! Looks like a punch is not enough for you!"

Misae hearing the loud voices then went outside to stop them both as well...

Misae: "What's with this loud voice?"

Tokoha: "Mother, please take father inside first. I'll try to talk with Chrono."

Misae: "Honey, let's go inside. Please calm down, at this rate I'm really worried about your condition."

Yoshiaki: "Hmph! You really are a stupid boy! I'll not let my daughter to be ever near you again! Even when I died, I'll try to stop you!"

Tokoha: "Enough father!"

She's in the verge of crying. It's getting a bit too much. Her father went too far for disrespecting Chrono's father and Mikuru, but at the same time Chrono couldn't control his emotions that he really crossed the line as well...

Chrono: "I had enough of this... from now on, I will not go here anymore. I brought you some beers knowing that you love them, so I'll put this here and I'll take my leave.".

He then put the beer and left her house...

Tokoha: "Chrono wait! Don't leave just yet!"

Chrono: "Is there anything left that we need to talk about? I already explained it clearly... I won't go here anymore so I won't disturb him anymore."

Tokoha: (Holding his hand) "Please..."

She couldn't hold her tears. Why is it so hard? For them to just start off their relationship in a good and relaxing way. Why both of them have to face these huge obstacles...

Chrono: (Looking at her) "For now, leave me alone. I need some breather... I'm tired of trying to get your father's approval. I don't mind being rejected million times, but disrespecting my father and even Mikuru who had sacrifice all her life to raise me... I won't forgive anyone who does that, even if it's someone really close to me..."

Tokoha: "I... I understand..."

Chrono: "Good! We will talk later... I promise that I'll talk to you but not now."

Tokoha: "Yes..."

He really didn't have the heart to see her like that. But at the same time, his mind is not in a good place either. He's afraid that he will say something that's bad to her, just like earlier...
