Chrono x Tokoha : The Challenges

Turn 7: Proper Talk

Then once everybody said their goodbye, all that's left there is Chrono and Tokoha. He wanted to talk to her properly this time. The others understood what he meant so they'll cooperate together so the two can talk...

Chrono: "Tokoha, I guess it's time to have a proper talk."

Tokoha: "Sure, but let's do it while we walk back home together."

Chrono: "Then I'll accompany you back home."

Tokoha: "Okay."

They head back together with Chrono accompanying her to her house while they talk...

Chrono: "I'm sorry..."

Tokoha: "Hm? What for?"

Chrono: "For being your worst friend over the past few weeks. Being sad and upset like a child because of you going to Paris. I guess there's a time where you just need to let your ego aside and start to really truly understand..."

Tokoha: "So what you just said earlier is not a bluff huh?"

Chrono: "Of course not... I'm really sorry... I really am. I realize it now... I don't want to be that selfish and be the reason why you're hesitant to go to Paris and reach your dream."

Tokoha: (Put her hand on his shoulder) "Hey, I forgive you alright. Afterall, I also realize it now that maybe I'm really that special to you, if not then I don't think you'll be that sad and upset right?"

Chrono: "Right! So I guess... we're good now?"

Tokoha: "What do you mean? We're always been good all this time."

Chrono: "Eh? Uhm.. then why didn't you come to the shop over the past few days?"

Tokoha: "Well I've been very busy with preparing myself for Paris so I don't have any time to go to Card Capital."

Chrono: "But... whenever we were chatting, why did it always end up short?"

Tokoha: "I don't know... we never really had long conversation during chatting I guess..."

Chrono: "Uh..." (Confused)

Tokoha: (Giggles) "It's nice to finally see this side of you again. I really miss it these days..."

Chrono: "And it's nice to be able to make you laugh again..."

Tokoha: He can be very cute and caring too... Eh?! Did I really just thought about that? But it's... kinda true though...

Chrono: "By the way..."

Tokoha: "Hm?"

Chrono: "You know... that we can always chat or video call when you're in Paris. If you have the time and I have the time and if you don't have the time then it's fine..." What the hell am I saying man? There's no way she can understand what I just said earlier...

Tokoha: (Smiling) "Sure! That will be nice especially if I'm a bit bored at times."

Chrono: S-She understand???

Tokoha: "Oh looks like we have arrived."

Chrono: "Uhm yeah... I guess I'll leave now. When is your flight to Paris exactly?"

Tokoha: "In two days actually..."

Chrono: "Okay, I'll ask Shion and the others to accompany you later."

Tokoha: "That'll be great. Thank you so much."

Chrono: "It's fine, alright I'll leave now. Make sure to come to the shop tomorrow."
