Chrono x Tokoha : The Challenges

Turn 8: U20 Tournament

Things have changed quite a lot after a few months. First of all, all three members of TRY3 has formed their own team to participate in the U20...

Chrono formed with Taiyou Asukawa, his long time friend and Kazuma Shouji, a friend from his school who coincidentally plays Vanguard as well. Their team name is Team Striders, their goal other than to win the U20 is to face Kazumi Onimaru, or Shiranui in this case with the Diffrider situation...

Shion formed with Henri Hayao, the captain of the Fukuhara High School Vanguard club and Rin Hashima, one of his rival back in the United Sanctuary days. Their goal is to win the U20 and prove to the Fukuhara's  principal that the club is worthy to be revived...

Lastly, Tokoha formed with Kumi Okazaki, her best friend and Satoru Enishi, the former Dark Zone branch chief and one of her former opponent during the Stride Gate days. Their team name is Jaime's Flowers as per request by Jaime himself and their goal is to win U20. Although Tokoha herself want to win the U20 for Miguel, one of her friend from Paris who tragically died from a car accident...

Chrono himself was quite shocked to see her returning after only a couple of months in Paris. They all still have the same goal, but this time they will face off each other...

And his team will face her team in the semifinal. He will be looking forward to face her for the first time in a tournament, although if it will go the third and last match...

At Chrono's Apartment

Mikuru: "So tomorrow you'll face Tokoha's team?"

Chrono: "Yeah, I'm really looking forward for that. Although it will be quite weird that this time we really have to face each other in a tournament."

Mikuru: "I see... as much as I like her, of course I'll be rooting for you."

Chrono: "Thank you..."

Mikuru: "So... when will you tell her?"

Chrono: "Hm?"

Mikuru: "About your feeling towards her... You said that you want to tell her once she comes back to Japan."

Chrono: "Oh about that... I'll tell her probably after the tournament and maybe the Diffrider situation as well."

Mikuru: "I see... make sure to think about it carefully, but at the same time try not to get too distracted."

Chrono: "Of course not..."

Chrono has told basically everyone but her... about his feeling towards Tokoha. And luckily enough, all of them showed their support. It's just a matter of time of when he will tell her, but of course he doesn't want to rush things...

First he needs to win the U20, even though he must beat her for that. Second, he needs to also solve the Diffrider situation, and then... maybe then he can finally confess...

The semifinal day has finally came. First up, we have Fukuhara High School Vanguard Club vs Team Diffrider. Rin will go up first against Verno, then Henri will go up against Saori and if needed, the third match will have Shion against Kazumi...

Rin won her match against Verno, but sadly Henri lost against Saori. In the end, it's all down to the decider between Shion and Kazumi...

The atmosphere was really amazing. Everyone was so fired up for this match. Chrono and Tokoha were hoping that Shion can finally end Kazumi's winning streak and knock his team out of the tournament...
