Chrono x Tokoha : The Challenges

Turn 14: Getting Worse

Shion: "Let's just wait for a little longer. Maybe they're having a long talk."

Tokoha then entered the shop...

Kumi: "Huh? Tokoha?"

Shion: "You're finally here, where is Chro-eh?!"

She then started crying. At that point, they knew that something bad really happened...

Kumi: (Approached her) "Tokoha, what happened?"

Kazuma: "Hey hey, is something wrong?"

Kamui: "Where is Chrono?"

Shion: "Guys, let her sit first. Then we can start asking her questions."

They both let her sit first. Once she calms down, they'll start asking her...

Shion: "So Tokoha, what just happened?"

Tokoha: "My father... just punched him in the face all of a sudden."

Everyone was shocked to hear that. So it turned out worse than everyone expected it to be...

Kazuma: "What the?!"

Taiyou: "No way..."

Kamui: "And where is he now? Is he alright?"

Tokoha: "I asked him to go back home. There's no way he can work with his face beaten up like that."

Kumi: "Shindou..."

Kazuma: "What the hell was that all about. He just started a relationship with you last night, what did he do wrong to get beaten up like that?"

Kamui: "Yeah, it's not like he has done something bad to you."

Tokoha: "I can't understand my father either but I can't believe he's playing violence towards him."

Shion: "Why don't we... pay him a visit tonight?"

Kazuma: "Yeah sure, I agree with you!"

Kamui: "He really needs us right now so I'll go as well!"

Kumi: "Tokoha, you're coming as well?"

Tokoha: "I..."

Taiyou: "He probably needs us, but he for sure needs you the most, Tokoha."

Shion: "That's right, so please come with us as well."

Tokoha: "Okay, but... it will be tough seeing him after all of that. I feel so guilty."

Kamui: "You're not at fault here Tokoha, so don't worry about it."

When the sun has set and the shop has been closed, they all then preparing themselves to go to his apartment...

Chrono currently laying on his bed. He really can't believe what just happened. So much for loving a girl that his face is now beaten up...

He kind of expected it at the same time but due to how early it was, yeah it was very shocking. The image of her father punching him in the face keeps on bothering his mind the whole day...

Chrono: Luckily it's just a small wound, he really has a strong power... I really hope tomorrow will be a bit better since I can't let Mikuru see me looking like this...

Then the bell rang. He went to the door and was surprised to see that Mamoru has come to his apartment...

Chrono: "Mamoru?"

Mamoru: "Can I come in?"

Chrono: "Yeah sure, come in!"

He then went inside...
