Shimmer girls

Episode 1: A dreamy beginning

A little girl was lying on her belly in bed, deep in sleep. The girl had shoulder-length dark brown hair and very light skin. Currently, she wore a soft pink night gown adorned with multiple little stars and pink teddy bear slippers.

There she lie, having a perfect dream about flying around on a shooting star, her older sister flying behind her with giant dark purple demon wings, when a knock came to her door.

"Miss Kandy," Said the voice in the world of the living, "It is time to wake up."

"Mmmm..." The girl, Kandy, moaned as she rolled onto her back.

There was a creaking sound and a maid entered the pink bedroom. The maid was young, bubbly, chunky and black haired, and she had blue tights which hugged her legs.

"Miss Kandy," Said the maid again, "Please wake up."

Just before the maid could reach down, Kandy darted awake.

"I'M UP!!!!" Kandy shouted.

The maid jumped back in surprise, landing on her butt.

"Are you ok, Gigi?" Asked Kandy, concerned for the maid.

"I'm alright, Miss Kandy," Said Gigi as she stood back up, "Anyway, it's time to get ready for your first day of big school."

"Yay!!!!" Kandy cheered, racing into her en-suite closet, Gigi following close behind the child.

When Kandy left her closet, she wore a white leotard, black pleated skirt with fabric straps over her shoulders and a black bow at the back, a white petticoat beneath the skirt, black school shoes and pink ankle socks with tiny yellow stars on them.

"You look beautiful, Miss." Gigi complimented, leading her to a vanity and sitting her down.

"Thank you, Gigi." Smiled Kandy as she took a pink hairbrush adorned with little plastic ice cream cones and started brushing her brown hair. Once brushed, Gigi tied up the hair with two bright pink ribbons.

"Aww," Gigi cooed, "Look at you looking all grown up!"

Kandy smiled a bright smile and got to her feet, grabbing her pre-packed pink backpack from her bedroom door and entering the corridors of her home.

Crystalline blue eyes landed on each door Kandy walked by, one in particular stood out, though. It was a huge black door with the name "McKenna" written on a sign. Just as little Kandy read that, the door opened and McKenna stepped through.

McKenna was only a head taller than Kandy, but she was four years older. The teen in front of Kandy had shorter hair than her sister, almost looking like the type of hair a teenage boy would have, white skin and seemingly golden eyes.

She wore a different uniform to her sister. McKenna wore a white leotard (like Kandy) with black school trousers and a matching blazer (unlike Kandy). McKenna also wore the same school shoes as her sister, but without socks and with glasses over her eyes.

"Ready for our first day, baby sister?" McKenna asked Kandy.

"Am I?!" Kandy replied, jumping up and down excitedly.

The sisters descended the stairs and found another servant, this one male, finishing up on breakfast.

"Good morning, Miss McKenna and Miss Kandy." The servant bowed to both sisters.

"Good morning, Rick." Kandy and McKenna replied at the same time and sat down for breakfast when an alarm went off on McKenna's phone.

"Shoot! We're gonna be late if we eat, Kandy!" Said McKenna with a sense of urgency as she picked her sister up and pulled her onto her back!
