My Dearest Cora,

I write to you now with a heart filled with renewed hope and a spirit invigorated by an act of bravery that has forever altered the course of my life here in South Africa. It is with immense gratitude and a sense of providence that I share the tale of my rescue, an episode that has reaffirmed my belief in the strength of loyalty and the indomitable human spirit.
