NISHIMURA ANOMEKA ( 西村アノメカ / 니시무라 아노메카 ), better known by the stage name ANO is a Japanese singer, dancer, rapper, model, actress, and ballerina who is currently part of the coed K-Pop group, NCT WISH, under SM ENTERTAINMENT. ANOfirst debuted in 2020 in a supporting role in the K-Drama 18 Again as Son Ji-min. She also had small roles in At A Distance Spring Is Green( 2021, Yang Ryu-hee), TWINKLING WATERMELON( 2023, Sato Zora), and Hierarchy( 2024, Hong Hae-won). ANOis best known for ranking 4th in the survival show NCT UNIVERSE : LASTART, being the older sister of ENHYPEN's NI-KI, and being one out of two brand ambassadors for luxury chocolate brand Cadbury.

𝗜 ୨୧ ﹙ 𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐒 𝐔𝐏 ﹚/ intro hi everyone and welcome to HANDS UP, the story of how NCTWISH came to be a coed group with 2 female members. this story will discuss the lives of ﹙ mainly! ﹚ ANO and a little bit about the other female member, SEHIN, who is the older sister of fellow member JAEHEE! basically, the way the group came to be coed is because NCT UNIVERSE:LASTART was a show where there were supposedly 11 male trainees competing, but out of the blue, they announced that they would add 11 female trainees too, shocking everyone. the trainees were divided into two groups ─ UNIVERSE ﹙ 유니버스 / males ﹚ and LASTART ﹙ 라스트스타트 / females ﹚. to debut, you needed a set number of points. ANO and SEHIN were part of the LASTART trainee group and they happened to be the only female members who gathered enough points to debut.
