Mystery traces (catnap x dogday)

Curiosity takes over

(Holly molly 32 reads in one day, that isn't bad for a start over, thanks y'all, sorry if the ending on the last chapter wasn't good)

Bobby:

I laid there in bed, just staring at the ceiling.  Deep in thoughts.. i wanted to do something crazy today... something unexpected... something cool. Hm... what if.. what if i had sneaked myself to crafty and picky? Maybe help them.. become there therapist and make then go to sane again. Atleast for crafty. But how can i get in if i dont have the keys... i could take the keys from catnap. But catnap wouldn't just give me them... i think i have a plan.

I walked out home and to the playhouse. I went to the play area where our mini versions were. We usually called them our pets since they acted like pets and made growling sounds like pets. I went to grab my pet, 'sweetheart' was her name. "Hello, sweetheart. Could you do your mums a favor?" I said while picking her up. I went back home with her and put her in my room. I grabbed my keys and let her smell it. I wrapped a lavender on the keys and hid it under my pillow. "Find my keys, sweetie!" I said while putting sweetheart on my bed to let her try sniff my keys. She sniffed around a bit till she sniffed my pillow. She then pushed the pillow away and grabbed my keys. "Perfect. I think you're ready for the favor."

Catnap:

I sat in bed and looked at my claws. I was a bit annoyed by it. It just looked basic and boring.. maybe if i can find nail polish to color my claws, i can look more fancy. I open the drawers and search for it. Soon after i found yellow nail polish. It was a perfect yellow color, it kinda matched my moon tattoos. I begin putting the nail polish on my claws. After finishing i looked at my claws again. It looked more fancy now. I decided to leave it and show dogday. I get up and leave my room. I go inside dogdays room without knocking and sit on the edge of the bed. "Look what i did to my claws!" I said and showed him my claws that was now painted yellow. "Oh wow! You painted your nails? They look good on you!" Dogday said happily while looking at the nails. "Thanks!" I replied, I decided to stay to talk with dogday.

Bobby:

When i saw catnap leave his room, i decide its time to strike. I go to catnaps door and open it a bit. I put sweetheart in front and let her smell my keys again. "Find catnaps keys, will you?" I said while sweetheart sniffed the keys. She then went inside catnaps room. I waited outside. Soon after sweetheart walked out with some keys. "Good girl!" I said and picked up sweetheart and took the keys out of her mouth. I closed catnaps door and quickly went back to my room to find out what key belongs to craftys room... once i came to my room and looked at the keys and realized.. theres atleast 50 keys.. atleast catnap wrote on every single key what they open or belong. I began looking.

(For those who wonders why didnt bobby go inside herself. First of all. If bobby goes inside and touch something, her scent would stay and catnap would notice. Second. Sweetheart lost her scent years ago so she wont leave traces.)

Dogday:

"Hey catnap? I was thinking about going for a picnic today as a adventure. What do you think?" I said and looked at catnap who was now cuddling me. "Hmm... sure. But we gotta make a lot of food and you made breakfast for everyone today. Are you sure about a picnic?" Catnap said and looked at me. "Hmm sure, i dont mind making more food. Ill spare picky leftovers too. But then you and uh.... Kickin can go feed him." I replied. "Why do you need both me and kickin to feed picky?" "Well, i was the one who feed her two days ago. And she seemed really aggressive when i feed her. She even made jokes about eating me.. im sorry but im just concerned for her." I said and looked away nervous. "Dont worry, ill check on her tomorrow. If it makes you feel better. Ill help you with making the food." Catnap said and looked at me. "That would be really nice." I said back and kissed his forehead. We got up from bed and went to the kitchen that's beside the dining room. I decided to make sandwich's and catnap decided to make cake. I made a few sandwiches with ham and cheese and a few with salami and cheese. Catnap had to make a egg free cake due to kickin doesn't wanna eat eggs since they come from chickens.

Bobby:

After searching for a while. I finally found a extra key to crafty's room. I took the extra and let the original key stay. I get up and walk to catnaps room again. But then i realized my scent is probably on the keys.. i think for a while before i come up with a plan. I go to my room and grab sweetheart before walking to the playhouse. I went to the play area and put sweetheart down. I then find moonshine (catnaps mini version/ catnaps pet) and give place the keys in his nest. Now my scent will be replaced with moonshines. I then go back home. I walk through the hallways till i find crafty's room. I stand right in front of it and stare at the door. I lets out a sigh and put the key in the keyhole. The door opens. I slightly look inside it. Its dark. I turn on the lights and go inside. "Hello? Crafty corn? Its me, bobby bearhug!" I said and look around. Suddenly the door slammed shut behind me. I turned around...and...saw.....
