“Kaisa lag raha hai walime main aake begum?”
Shahzaib spoke softly against her ears.A shiver ran down Urwa's spine hearing his deep voice. She needs to get a grip on herself, he is making her crazy.
Urwa continued looking forward, giving a small smile to everyone ignoring him. Shahzaib shook his head at her antics while continuing to greet the guests. Urwa saw her family heading towards her. To be specific Ayaan was coming towards her. As he reached he gave a salam to Shahzaib which he returned.
“Main Urwa ko thodi der ke liye le ja sakta hu?”
Ayaan asked, looking at Shahzaib.Urwa looked at Ayaan confused, thinking what happened to him. Shahzaib nodded his head giving him the permission. Ayaan held Urwa's hand and they both went into a secluded section as Waalima was taking place in the lawn.
“Kya hua Aayan bhai? Idhar kyu le aaye mujhe?”
Urwa questioned looking at Aayan.Aayan took a deep breath and questioned worriedly
“Tum khush ho yaha? Kisi ne kuch kiya ya bola toh nahi haina?”Urwa smiled at his concern and responded
“Main thik hu. Kisi ne kuch nahi kaha sab aache hai par hua kya hai mujhe bologe?”Urwa could sense his taunt posture. She could feel something is surely wrong. Aayan looked at her, his eyes showing how serious he was.
“Umar zinda hai”
Ayaan spoke.Urwa looked at him wide eyed. What? What the heck? How the heck can this happen? He is alive? It's not possible is it?
“Umar zinda hai? Aisa kaise ho sakta hai? Aap kya bol rahe hai Aayan bhai? Maine aapni aankhon se dekha hai uske seene main goli lagte hue mere saath mazak na kare please”
Urwa pleaded, tears threatening to fall through her eyes.“Urwa main jhoot nahi bol raha. Kuch hafte pehle main kaam ke silsile mein Delhi gaya tha. Tab maine ek ladke ko dekha woh bilkul Umar jaisa tha. Mujhe laga ki woh Umar hoga par maine socha ki koi insaan seene main goli lagne ke baad aur yaha tak paani main girne ke baad zinda reh sakta hai? Par jab maine usse baat ki toh mujhe shak hone laga”
Urwa continued looking at him as she heard him talk about Umar. He was alive? Why didn't he return then?
“Par woh bada shatir tha”
Ayaan chuckled remembering Umar's numerous attempts so that they would not discover about him.“Par maine uska ek baal chupke se le liya. Maine abba ka bhi baal le liya aur laboratory main de diya. Aaj subah results aaye. Aage ka tum hi dekh lo tumhe inn chizo ke baare main jyada malum hai”
Ayaan spoke, removing an envelope from his coat and handing it to her.Urwa held that envelope in her shivering hands as she opened the report. At last it was written
The alleged father cannot be excluded as the biological father of the tested child. Based on the analysis of the STR listed above, the probability of paternity is 99.999%.
Urwa closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Trying to absorb the situation which is happening.
“Tum thik ho?”
She heard Ayaan questioning.“Nahi main thik nahi hu. Bara(12) saal baad mujhe yeh pata chal raha hai ki mera judwa bhai, mera twin jiske seene main maine 12 saal phele goli lagte aur pani main girte dekha tha woh zinda hai? Jis raat ke wajah se maine aapna sab kuch kho diya woh be-matlab hai? Nahi hu main thik”
Urwa yelled, tears streaming down her face.Ayaan looked at her sadly. Urwa was the most affected one after that incident and she was the one whom their parents blamed for Umar's death. She was not at fault but still she was bearing the consequences of the things which she didn't do. Ayaan embraced Urwa in a warm hug. Trying to calm her down he can't afford to let her have a panic attack again.
