Two seven year olds were sitting on a sofa, waiting for their parents to come home, their two elder siblings accompanied their parents. They lived in a small yet cosy house, two bedrooms, a medium sized living room and a small kitchen. Soon they are going to move into a large haveli that's what their baba said. They were going to move into their grandfather's haveli tomorrow and today their maa and baba had gone to visit them. While their older siblings accompanied them.
Though they wanted to accompany them, their parents refused sadly. They were ready to take Umar with them but not Urwa, the reason was quite clear: their grandfather didn't like her, he despised her. His despise for her was very prominent. He always says to her father that-
"Woh iss ghar ke tutne ki wajah banegi yaad rakhna tum Atif"
Urwa didn't pay heed to her grandfather's words, she was quite mature for her own age, the situation they faced made her mature and tough at a young age. The only thing she knew was that her baba was told to leave the haveli as he got married to her mama, her mama belong to a middle-class family not rich as her paternal side but her nana ji, Ahmed Shaikh was a proud yet good man to provide to his family as much he can. Her grandfather didn't like it and banished her father from the Shah Haveli.
Soon her mama baba found a place to live and started their life. They were blessed with her oldest brother Zain who was born a year after their marriage, while after six years they had another child Aayan, her second oldest brother. Her parents cared greatly for their siblings but her father, Atif always craved for a daughter and soon he was blessed with not only a daughter but a son as well, Umar and Urwa. They both were twins. Her dadaji accepted her brother as soon as they were born. According to him
'Shah Khandhan ke shehzado ko aise mahol main bada karoge? Raeesi ka maza unhe bhi uthane do'
She was never included, but now her grandfather's health has started deteriorating making him more and more concerned about his son and his family. Thus, he asked her baba, Atif to move into Shah haveli so that he can spend his last movement with his family. Slowly slowly he also started to accept her mama but she was never accepted and she never knew the reason.
"Urwa?"
Umar called her out.Urwa snapped out of her thoughts and looked at Umar, her twin. He was ten minutes older than her but for her he was the most innocent creature in the whole universe. Innocent, cute and adorable. That's her brother.
"Haa?"
Urwa responded."Mama baba kab aayege?"
He questioned looking at her."Aa jayega jaldi kahan tha unhone"
She replied, looking at him."Woh log wapas toh nahi aa jayega na?"
Umar questioned warily.Urwa's gaze softened looking at her brother's face.
"Nahi aayenge fikar mat karo"
Urwa reassured him.Since the day her grandfather has announced her father is going to take over after him there has been continuous attacks on them. Cherry on the top they don't live in Shah haveli which is guarded 24/7. Thus, they are more open to attacks. So, they are shifting to Shah haveli tomorrow. Umar being the sensitive one was tired and scared of all of these attacks.
Urwa caressed his face while a small smile graced on his face. She loves him so much, she can do anything for him. Anything. Suddenly a knock was heard on the door. Both of them flinched at the sudden noise. Umar looked at Urwa frightened by the sudden noise, while Urwa caressed his hand with her thumb.
