Urwa was again busy with her daily duties while Shahzaib had gone out for his work. It feels good to have someone who can fight with, with someone where you can be vulnerable. She knows in the world like hers, vulnerability is frowned upon. Vulnerable peoples are ripped apart by greedy bastards but Shahzaib? He is different at least for her. She does know that people kind of fear and respect him. Maybe, according to his position, he may be a little ruthless while dealing with such matters. She has a hunch but not clarity.
If only she knew the gentle Shahzaib with her, is the most ruthless in the world she resides. He can be ruthless but not for the fair ones. Tedhe logo ko agar tedhi zaban main nahi samjhaya toh unke dimag main baat nahi jati.
"Urwa beta khana khaya aapne?"
Ayesha questioned worriedly, entering the living room. Urwa, hearing Ayesha's voice, bites her tongue. She again delayed having her lunch. As much as she loves food, Shahzaib was going to have lunch with her today as he said in the morning that he will be home by lunch. He didn't tell her to wait, she was the one who was hell bent on their not so known date idea of hers.Yeh kaise date hui Urwa jab saamne wale ko pata hi na ho?
Her subconscious mocked her.Mere shohar ke saath date arrange karne ke liye mujhe kisse batane ki jarurat nahi hai usse bhi nahi
Urwa shot back, trying to clear her statement which was not so right?"Beta sunna aapne?"
Ayesha's voice snapped Urwa out of her thoughts.
Aaj kal jara jyada hi pagal harkate kar rahi hu main.
"Ammi woh–"
Urwa tried to explain, if she told her she didn't her mother-in-law would surely rant all out. In this week, she has cared for her like a mother, she cared more than her own mother did in these 12 years."Woh kya?"
Ayesha narrowed her eyes."Nahi kiya"
Urwa finally answered."Kyu?"
Ayesha questioned, her voice to calm for Urwa's liking."Ammi woh subah main Shahzaib ne kaha tha ki woh lunch ke time aayega toh maine socha uske saath kha lu"
Urwa responded meekly. She didn't want to get on the bad side of her mother-in-law, for god sake Rahman Sikandar as well as the younger Sikandar generation including her. One glare of hers and you would be doomed."Yeh ladka bhi na, aapni biwi ko bhuka baitha raha hai, aaj kal ke ladko ko aapni biwiyo ki fikr hi nahi hai. Pagal kahika, Urwa aise intezaar mat karo uska chalo khana kha lo dopher ke char(4) baje hai. Aabhi bhuki ho aane do usse phir dekhti hu main usse"
Ayesha spoke angrily.Shahzaib tum toh gaye.
"Ammi woh Shahzaib ne lunch ke liye rukne ko nahi kaha tha main khud hi–"
Urwa tried to explain."Pata hai Urwa mujhe, mohabbat main pagal log aise hi kehte hai. Par uss pagal ko bhi samjhna chahiye biwi hai aab uski. Uska tumhe ek baar call aaya ki woh lunch ko nahi aa payega?"
Ayesha spoke calmly trying to make Urwa understand.Urwa shook her head. He would be busy, maybe that's the reason he didn't call right?
"Urwa beta humne bhi mohabbat ki hai par mohabbat main andha nahi hona hai hmm? Ek saas ke nate nahi maa ke hasiyat se keh rahi hu"
Ayesha spoke."Main mohabbat main aandhi hu, na mujhe uss pagal se mohabbat hai"
Urwa grumbled, she can't say the truth can she?"Acha? Beta aise hi umar nahi guzari maine, tum aur Shahzaib aandhe ho sakte hai. Main aur gharwale nahi"
Ayesha spoke with sarcasm. Is she so noticiable? She felt her cheeks heatining.
