Urwa was still in their room. She didn't leave the room. She believed he would come back and listen to her. He would, afterall he loves her right? He would never let her down.
Time was passing so slowly as if Urwa felt it's been an eternity since he left while it was only one o'clock in the morning. Three hours since he left, three hours since she is reflecting on herself. She doesn't regret going there, she regrets going there without informing Shahzaib. She doesn't even know how those images were clicked or how it was sent to Shahzaib and it manipulated the whole situation and brought him to think like she was the one who breached the data.
At first she herself didn't understand this but when she realised about this database thing she was no longer in position to explain herself.
She was trapped.
She didn't even know that the guy she met was Malik's men or else she would have reconsidered going there. She wouldn't go without telling Shahzaib but right now? She is in deep trouble just because she refused to tell this to Shahzaib.
Her goal was simple.
She didn't want to get Shahzaib involved in all these weird revenges of hers. She was the one who suffered. She should be the one who makes the person regret.
At first she didn't know that it was Azim Malik who was behind her and Umar's kidnapping. That incident shook her whole life and turned her into a hollow shell of herself.
The pain of being ignored is kind of bitter, you know?
It's like being present but being unnoticed and uncared.
This has left a huge scar on her heart.
She doesn't even know if she can even forgive her parents for what they did to her. Maybe she would never be able to but still she can't deny that somewhere in her heart though hidden she cares for them. Weird isn't it?
Her parents contributed to almost all the pain of her life but still she had a soft spot for them? Whenever she looks at her parents first a wave of anger hits her then an understanding passes through her mind. Deep down due to all those years of taunts and blaming she had accepted that she was the reason for Umar almost dying.
Agar jhut baar baar kaha jaye toh woh bhi sach lagne lagta hai.
Years later she is getting a chance to prove that she was not the reason. She is not responsible for this incident. She doesn't want to let it go. She won't let it go.
The darkness of her past haunts her. It still does.
Though her nightmares and panic attacks have decreased just due to the calming presence of a person. She can't deny that she is weak. She would collapse if something hit her again. After so many years she has gotten a family, she finally understood the meaning of being loved and cared for. How can she let it go?
How can she let Shahzaib go?
She accepts she can be unruly sometimes, maybe she was stubborn but she would never stoop so low.
It's her fault.
She is responsible for this incident.
The door of the room cracked open revealing Shahzaib. His posture was all slacked off. He was tired. It was obvious since morning he is dealing with the company matters and at night someone set fire in his mill. How can her man even rest?
Urwa moved towards Shahzaib, she could explain to him and everything would be back to normal right?
"Shahzaib?"
Urwa spoke, unsure how to explain the situation to him.
