I don't know if I was jinxing myself because this couldn't just be some coincidence that I so happen to run into Weston, of all people, after he doesn't show at school today. Or in my life for a matter of fact.

It was like I could never live a day without Weston just appearing out of nowhere to ruin it.

He stared down at me with an amused look as I could tell he was enjoying watching me lose it. "Aren't you going to ask me why I wasn't in school today?" He rose a playful brow as he moved his cigarette from his lips to in-between his middle and index finger.

I glared at him. "I'd rather not know. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be heading home now" I say bluntly as I fixed my backpack. So he practically ditched school to go smoking. Typical Weston. But as I was ready to leave he blocked my path and I looked up at him annoyed and confused. "Could you move"

"Can't you ask much nicer?" He grins, his dimples visible.

"That wasn't a question, it was a demand"

He let out a deep chuckle, flashing his sharp canines which made my stomach twist in annoyance. This bastard thought it was funny to annoy me today after what he did to me last night?

Remember what I said about not beating him up? Well, I take that back.

"Just move, Weston. I don't have time for your games" I sighed, the annoyance in my sigh distinct as I went round him, making sure I shoved him by the shoulder which did nothing to him obviously, but it made me feel good about myself.

At least he hadn't brought up last night cause that would be an even awkward situation to deal with. Hah, so annoying.

But as I was about to take my forth step I was suddenly pulled back by the handle of my backpack and like this all happened in slow motion, I was pinned against the wall by Weston who towered over me like a fucking lamp poll.

I looked up at him confused but his eyes were already on mine, a hint of amusement sparked in his eyes, but there was something else which I just couldn't make out.

"What the hell was that for?" I yelled as I wanted to push him off but he held my wrist, stoping me. I furrow my brows.

"Lewis, about last night," He stared and I felt my body tense up at his words. No, no, no, there is no way he was about to do this to me. I tried to struggle out his grip which was practically no use since he was much stronger than me. "Hey, calm down will you-"

"Hey! There he is!" Both our head turned to where the voice came from and we were meet with two police officers who stared at us before they began walking towards us.

"Shit" Weston cursed under his breath before he turned to me. "Hope you can run, Henderson"

I stared at him but before I could answer he grabbed my wrist tightly but somewhat gently before we began running through the sidewalk. "Hey! Stop right there!!" The cops yelled before they soon began chasing us.

What the hell was happening?!

We rushed through the sidewalk, Weston's grip on my wrist tight as we brushed pass the people in our way with the cops hot on our tail. Weston only laughed like a maniac as the cops kept yelling for us to stop.

I don't know what crime Weston had commited but I didn't want to be part of it one bit, but I still felt as though if I pulled back from him the cops would catch up with me in no time since Weston was doing most of the running and I was just being dragged round like a rag doll.

"S-slow down!" I yelled at him as I kept stumbling. How was he this fast?!

"Get ready for a turn!" I furrow my brows but luckily I had enough sense to tell me to turn when he did.
