I would admit, today was actually more fun than expected. Who thought being tricked by your enemy to come practice for your project would actually turn into a lot of fun? Definitely not me.
I never knew hanging with Weston would actually affect me like this. He made all the things I thought were just useless things to get out of doing work fun.
I thought I would never say it but, I guess hanging with Weston today was fun. Just a bit.
"Damn, looks like all those games drained me out" Weston stretched his arms up in the air before letting out a slight groan. "And you actually had fun for once"
I glared at him before rolling my eyes. "I never said I did"
"But the way you kept whacking those moles tell me you did" I punched his arm a bit and he just chuckled and shifted from me before shifting back to his usual spot next to me.
I rolled my eyes at him before my gaze shifted to the plushie in his grip. I guess since he was the one who won it he deserved it, though I really wanted it so badly.
Can't act desperate, Lewis.
"Do you want it?" Weston suddenly asked, which caught me off guard a bit.
"Want what?" I asked as I shifted my gaze away and to a section of the male which had tulips displayed on their banner. I still felt guilty after ruining my mom's tulip garden.
"The plushie. I can see the way you're looking at it and by the looks of it you must really want it. You even cursed at the machine" He reminded me of my not so fun moment. I cursed him under my breath as I made sure to now keep my gaze away from him, and the plushie.
"Whatever, it's not like I want it" I lied. I may sound childish but I really did want it.
"Well, you can have it" He say as he brings the plushie towards me. I stared at the plushie then at him.
"I said I don't want it" I pushed it away.
"Stop lying and just take it. Before I change my mind" He stared at me with a content face and I sighed before taking it from him.
God it was so soft.
"Hah, I knew you would want it" He chuckles. "Why else do you think I would pick this one out of the others?" He grinned widely at me, his dimples visible.
I guess he was right. "Thanks I guess" I muttered as I gently nuzzled the plushie against my chest, taking in the somehow decent scent of the toy.
"So cute"
"Excuse me?"
"The plushie, you dumbass" He laughed and I felt my cheeks flush a shade of red as I turned away embarrassed. For some reason my heart was thumping rather faster than usual, and why was I suddenly feeling jealous over a toy?
I managed to calm myself down before we continued walking.
"So are you walking home?" Weston suddenly asked, pulling a cigarette out the pack before he lit it and took a tender puff.
"Yeah, but I don't mind walking. How about you?" I suddenly found myself asking him as I fiddled with the bow of my plushie.
"My car" He grins. "Would it be okay if I drop you off?"
I stared at him and he stared back at me with a genuine smile. His blue eyes reaming on mine and for some reason it made me nervous. His gaze never made me nervous, so what's happening now?
"I'd rather die than get in the same car as you" I shifted my gaze away from his and I could hear a slight chuckle escape his lips.
"No you wouldn't. Now stop being so bratty and just let me drop you off" He stood In fornt of me as we got out the mall and I was stunned to see the sun will soon set. I didn't realize how much time we had spent in the arcade with how much fun we were having.
