"Want me to turn on the radio?" Weston asked me as he started his car, his gaze trying to lock with mine.

I shook my head as my gaze remained on my fingers which fiddled with one another. There was a soft hum from Weston before he put his car on drive and began to drive.

The fact I was in Weston's car, being taken to his house after I finished pouring my heart to him just made me feel so nervous and anxious. What if when we get to his house Isabel appears and everything was just another way to humiliate? The thought felt so nerve-racking, though I tried not to think that was the case.

The eye bags under his eyes and the desperation in his voice. It just sounded so absurd not to believe him. But now I think about it, when you have such an angelic face it's only natural you use it to your advantage.

But... I didn't want to believe the same for Weston. At least for now.

We had been driving for about thirteen minutes and when I looked out the window I was stunned to see so many lavish, expensive houses. Each more lavish than the last. Did Weston actually live here?

I looked over at him who kept his eyes on the road. He had one hand on the wheel while his other hand rested on gear stick. He had a poker face on, and God, with the eye bags he just looked much more attractive than I remember.

I felt my heart pace begin to beat rapidly as he noticed my gaze and smirked a bit at me. "Enjoying the view?" He winked at me.

I felt my cheeks heat up a bit and I think he noticed as he began to chuckle. His dimples which I didn't know I miss so much appeared and I couldn't help but feel butterflies in my stomach. Was this really normal? Am I supposed to be feeling such things?

Eventually, Weston parked the car before turning to me. "We're here" He smiled. As I got out of the car and looked up at his house I was equally stunned and amazed. His house was astonishing and lavish. Like it was straight out of a movie. And he actually lived here?!

I looked over at Weston who shut the car door then looked over at me. "No way you live here" I say, staring at him with stunned eyes. He noticed that and chuckled softly before shrugging.

"I guess it's something. I mean it's a house" He says simple as if it was nothing. I mean he has been living here for probably all his life so of course it's nothing to him. "Though I'd like to live in your kind of house"

I furrow my brows as I heard his words. He would like to live in my regular house than this literal penthouse? "If I lived here I wouldn't even bother coming out my of my house" I muttered softly as my gaze landed on the beautiful rose bushes at the corner of the house.

"Well unlike my house I'm sure every corner of yours is filled with memories" He muttered as he gently ran his fingers on the hood of his car. I was about to ask him what he meant by that, but I was immediately cut off when he gently took my hand and led me towards his house.

I just decided to drop the question since it didn't sound as of important, though I still felt curious.

Once we got to the door he pulled the key out his pocket before unlocking the door and pushing the door open, allowing me to enter first. "Welcome to my humble abode" He bowed dramatically which made a light chuckle escape my lips before I walked in. I took off my shoes and placed them besides the door before looking round the inside. And Wow, it was much more lavish than the outside.

A flat screen TV, leather couches, tile floors, and a literally chandelier hanging on the ceiling. I knew Weston was living a privileged life, but I didn't think it was this good.

Everything was amazing and I couldn't help but feel so out of place. Everything practically carried worth and I'm sure that flower vase in the corner probably costed more than my entire saving's. Though why didn't Weston every invite me over during our project?
