The rhythmic feeling of Weston's hand gently patting my back, and his heart thumping at a steady pace seemed to put my at ease.
I snuggled into his chest, basking in his warm as I let a deep breath escape my lips. I felt so calm and at peace just being near him. It felt like home, a home I never wanted to leave. I just wanted to stay snuggled up next to him.
Skin to skin, lips to lips, breaths mingling with one another, listening to the others heart rate gradually increase. I wanted that, I needed that.
"You okay in there?" Weston asked me, whose face was practically buried in his chest. I nodded still buried in and earned a chuckle from him. I pulled my face out of his chest and looked up at him. The first thing I noticed were his cute dimples, and the first thing I did was poke my finger into one. "And what's this?" He asked with a smirk.
I shrugged. "I don't know. I just felt the need to do so" He shock his head before gently grabbing my hand and interlocking it with his. He then flipped our hands and pressed a kiss at the back of mine.
"Hmmm, I wish I could have you like this all the time" He whispered as he cuddled my hand still locked with his.
A smile couldn't help but creep up my face at his words. Me too.
As we stayed in silence for a few moment, Weston still cuddling my hand, he then lifted his face up to look at me. "Lewis, do we really know each other?"
What?
I furrowed my brows at his words. What was with that question? "What do you... Mean by that?" I asked, obviously confused.
"I mean, you know me, and I know you. But do we really know each other? Like our favorite hobbies, if we prefer cats or dogs. All that" He explained as I felt his arms slow wrap round my waist. Come to think of it, he was right. I barely knew anything about Weston aside from he was, Weston.
All this time that I thought we were actually getting close, we were actually still so far apart. I don't know why, but I hated it.
"Then let's fix that!" I said with a bit of to much determination which made Weston, and myself stunned a bit. He chuckled before ruffling my hair.
"I love your determination" He grinned. "So let's start by getting to know each other. Shall I start first, or do you want to?"
I thought for a moment then shock my head. "You go ahead"
"Alright then. Um, what do you want to study after highschool?" He asked. That seemed like a common question.
"Architecture" I replied.
"OooOooO~ Such a big job for my Lewis baby" He dramatically brought my head to his chest, sniffling like a mother who was watching her only child go off for college. I rolled my eyes before pushing away.
"Ha-ha. How about you Mr, 'Bad boy?"
"Ha, well. I'm still not quite sure. My parents want me, or more like are forcing me to go into medicine, but I myself aren't even sure what I want to do" He explained as he turned away from me, his gaze shifting out the window. I gently reached up to caress his cheek and turn it back to mine.
"It's your choice to make, not your parents" I smiled at him. "Though you would look like a sexy doctor. I wouldn't be surprise if all the patients would want to see you instead~" I tease him and his lips curled in a small smile.
