Your thoughts on Lewis and Brent's fight?
————————————

"I'll see you tomorrow, mom. I love you too" I say over the phone before I hang up and at that moment Weston walked into the living room.

"Was that your mom?" He asked, plopping down besides me.

I nodded at him. "Yeah. I just needed to tell her I would be spending the night over, that's it" I explained, my voice more of a muttered as I placed my phone down. Weston seemed to have caught onto the disdain in my voice which was why he probably pulled me on to his lap and looked up at me with worried eyes.

"Brent still on your mind?" I shifted my gaze away, but nodded at him. What other reason could explain why all I felt like disappearing right now?

"This is all my fault. If I were just honest with him, he probably wouldn't hate me right now" I explain, gripped the fabric of his shirt tightly as I felt tears sting my eyes.

"It's not your fault, and he doesn't hate you—"

"T-then why won't he pick up my calls? I-its obvious he hates me and wants nothing to do with me, hic" I sniffled softly, feeling a single tear roll down my cheek. Weston didn't say anything and just stared at him.

I'm probably making him uncomfortable right now.

I didn't mean to.

I suddenly then felt his hand reach up to brush away the streak of tear on my cheek. "I won't lie to you, Lewis. Brent just needs some space, but that doesn't mean it's your fault. Things like this happen. Some people feel betrayed and some don't, but what you have to understand is that blaming yourself never works and it only hurts the people around you" His thumb gently caressed my cheek. "Brent doesn't hate you. Maybe he just needs some time to process all this"

I sniffled softly as I shifted my gaze away. "But what if—"

"Enough with the what if's. I'm sure Brent is probably balling his eyes out because he freaked out at you" I parted my lips at his words before a small smile grazed my lips.

"Y-you're right. I'm sorry for bothering you with my sulking" I whispered as I wiped my tears.

He wiped my tears as well. "You're not. In fact, I love that you feel comfortable to share things like this with me" A warm smile grazed my lips at his words before I buried my face into his shoulder. His arms wrapped around my waist and pulled me closer against his body.

"Thanks, Weston. I... Love you" I whispered, my cheeks flushing a bit as I admitted that.

"Haha, I love you too" He whispered back.

We stayed like that for a while. Snuggled up to one another, his thumb occasionally rubbing my side while I would play with strand of his hair. I just wanted to stay like this forever, without a care in the world.

"Lewis..." He called.

"Yeah...?" I answered.

"Wanna shower together?" I drew away from his shoulder and looked at him. There was a soft smile on his lips.
