They got to Liams house , they were welcomed in Phillips couldn't help but notice the tension between them.

" you must be Athena " , " yes I am thank you for inviting us into your home " , " no no we're happy to have you , you saved our son after all " Liams mom voiced.

" son you said you had something to talk to us about " , " uhm well,  it's, kind..." he kept quiet fiddling with his fingers.

" Liam has found his mate , he wanted to introduce you to him " , Athena voiced breaking the news.

" Him? " the parents both repeated , " yes Him , is there a problem with that? You don't seem like people who have the mindset of old people ".

" my son is no fagott " , " ofcourse he's not sir , he never was , he's only attracted to one man and that's his mate " , " what will people say ? " his mother cried.

" I am honestly so disappointed in the two of you , your son is already having a tough time trying to ease into the fact that his mate is a male , and now he has the pressure of his parents not accepting him.

You thought of what the people would say first but not of your sons feelings , do people matter more than your son? ".

" no no no we love our son , we just don't want him to suffer p..." , " sir , ma'am,  your son needs you not the people , your reaction to this now is what's hurting him than what people outside will say to him " , they both jumped up and got infront of Liam.

Athena ate her food , not looking at what was happening in the room " son , we're sorry , we were just taken off by surprise,  this is new to us but I am sure you're struggling more than we are ".

Liam sighed and hugged them both " this is Phillips,  I am sure you've heard of him , he is my Mate " , " not only did the Goddess give you a male as your mate , she gave you a mortal? " his father asked standing up.

" what do you mean a mortal? " , " Phillips is over like 400 years or something , son you're so young " , " 400 years? " Liam asked looking at Phillips.

" what do you mean 400 years ? " He asked , Athena shouldered Luther " aaah well you see , Phillips is the Phillips from the books " Luther tried explaining.

Liam stood up " what Phillips from the books? The Miracle child Phillips from the books? " Liam asked this time with his voice louder.

Luther nodded " what ?" , Phillips stood up " you're going to collapse, breath you're panicking " , " you...how...400..." Liam lost his balance but Phillips catched him.

" I know we have a huge d..." Athena sighed got up and put everyone in they seats.

" so what if he's old ? Does that change how you feel about him Liam ? " he shook his head,  " sir do you have a problem with they relationship? " , " it's not my place to judge the Goddess must've known Liam would be a good partner to Phillips,  the man had been lonely his whole life and Liam is just perfect for him I guess ".

" now that , that's all out of the way can we eat , I am starving " , " sure " they started eating.

Athena looked at Phillips, he had his head down , she was worried.

Luther noticed , he cleared his throat getting Liams attention,  Liam looked up at him and he pointed towards Phillips.

Liam understood and dished up for Phillips,  then intertwined his hand in his and squeezed.

Phillips looked up at him , he pointed towards the food , he just nodded and started eating.

Athena knew this was what Phillips had feared all his life.

After dinner Phillips was the first to excuse himself,  Liam followed.

He ran after him and hugged him from the back " are you leaving me? " , " no I would never do that " , " you seem like you're running away " Phillips turned around and sighed.

" does it bother you that I am old? " , " no " , " no? But y..." , " I was surprised,  I didn't say it bothered me , I was just taken by surprise " , " really ? " , " mhhh" he cupped his cheeks.

" you're legend , the choosen one , ofcourse I'd panick , I don't think I am worthy of you " , " Liam " , " you saved so many lives and wondered the world protecting the one whom was granted to us by the God's,  how can I not worry? " , " Liam " , " I am not bothered by the age difference,  I am bothered by how such a perfect person could be granted to me , for me to take care of him " , " Lia..." , " I love you " Liam interrupted him.

" I love you so much,  I swear " , " I love you more " they started kissing.

Phillips picked him up " hey no fair " Liam said crossing his legs on his waist.

" dinner is over now , you said I could get some later " , " I didn't " , " you're lying,  even now you said you'd take of me , and I want you " , " behave we're in the streets " , " then let's hurry back or I'll take you here " , Liam pecked his lips " yes sir " they both chuckled.

Liam jumped off him and they hurried back to they room.

Luther walked Athena back to her wing " can I sleep over ? " , " no " Luther chuckled , " I don't really have to ask the wing is mine , I was just being respectful " , " you can't sle..." he pulled her close to him.

" can't I? " , " Luther what are you doing we're in the streets " , " let me sleep over " , " no " he pulled her closer his lips kissing down her neck " Luth..." his arms around her waist picking her up a little.

He nibbed her ear " let me stay " he whispered in her ear , Athena was so lost in him she couldn't even answer.

He picked her up , pushing her against the wall , he was leaving marks on her neck , soft moans coming out of her mouth.

He connected his lips to hers , both hungry for one another , he locked her wrists with one hand above her.

His other hand rubbing and squeezing her thighs,  he looked deep into her eyes " we should get inside " she nodded.

He quickly moved them inside , her back against the door as he kissed down her neck to her boobs.

" Luther we should stop " she moaned , he moved them to the couch , his hand between her thighs rubbing them gently.

" do you want me to stop ? " , she didn't answer,  he looked at her " should I stop? " she turned him around and got ontop of him.

As they strip each other's clothes of they bodies , and for the first time Athena made love and let someone in.
