The Alpha and Her

Days went by slowly,  Luther didn't only feel terrible he looked terrible,  he was struggling to sleep.

They drove to the Veteneries , they got there and Luther couldn't even hold his eyes open.

" Derrick " , " Alpha Memphis " , " please call me Memphis,  we're practically family " they shook hands.

" this is my son Luther " , " you look like he'll child " , Lalita voiced " I feel worse ma'am " she put a hand on his forehead.

" your wolf is sick and you haven't been sleeping " , " is she here? I just want to see her ill be fine when I see her " , " who ? " , " Athena " , " ow baby Lilac will be back later on but I suggest you sleep in her room just so you can get her scent ".

" Lilac ? " , " yes that's her name come this way " Lalita was worried and walked her to Lilac's room.

The moment he got a wif of her scent his body relaxed , he took of his shoes and got into bed and fell asleep immediately,  Lalita placed a hand on his forehead and healed his wolf.

She walked out letting him rest , everyone was sitting in the lounge having some snacks.

Lalita hugged Phillips , then Liam " I am sorry I was just so worried about the little Alpha,  congratulations you two " , " thank you " , " so have you decided where you'll stay? Will Liam live in your room or at the house? ".

" I was hoping we could find a way for me to live with Liam at his pack.

He's young , has family , he's a Beta and also the only seer of his pack and I don't want to take that away from him ".

" what of you? What off the duties you have? Lilac has been out there working alone you know that's not good anything could happen she needs her protector " Elezander voiced.

" let's leave this conversation and discuss it when Lilac is here,  hear her opinion, Phillips is not wrong a seer can't leave its pack " ," Memphis " , " okay enough you two we have guests , so tell us is the young Alpha really her mate? ".

" yes , he has been losing it , how is she? " , " well Lilac is with child " , " what does that mean? " , " she's pregnant " Lalita cleared everyone's confusion.

" I think thats why the boy is drained , she doesn't know it yet , Lalita saw it by coincidence " Mempis voiced.

" I am having a grandson or granddaughter? Already? " the Alpha asked excited.

" I guess we should congratulate you Derrick " Elezander voiced " but you all don't seem excited.

" Lilac is the child of the Goddess,  a Goddess herself,  how do we get excited when we don't know what will happen if she's mated ? Or if she'll give birth.

We've never known when she'll disappear or die , or if she ever went home.

We're excited for her to find someone she can be with but we can't risk it " Memphis explained.

" nothing will happen to her , she and my son will live a long life with they children,  the Goddess cannot give her happiness and then turn and take it all away from her.

Luther needs her and she needs him and that child needs both of them " , Memphis sighed.

They all kept quiet " let me show you to your room " Lalita broke the silence getting up.

Derrick followed her , Phillips and Liam went to rest in his room.

It was now late and time for dinner Luther looked better less drained , he walked in and sat down.

" you look better , feel a little better , is she here yet" , " not yet but she should be home soon " he nodded dishing up a plate for her.

The door swung open and footsteps echoed " in here " Lalita shouted , Lilac walked in but froze when she saw Luther.

" child is everything okay? " Memphis asked " uhmm yes , everything went okay " she walked in and sat down , Luther gave her the plate.

" feel like I haven't seen you guys in forever " , " miss us already? " , " I mean unlike you I am not on a long vacation " they all laughed.

" so why are you here? Honeymoon over already? " , " I wanted to talk to you about my stay " , " you want to stay at Liams pack? " , " yes " , " you know the consequences? " , " yes " , " I have no problem with letting you go then ".

" consequences? " Liam asked , " yes , if he can no longer be my protector, I'll have to find someone new and bestow the gifts to them " , " meaning? " , " meaning he'll not be mortal anymore,  he will grow old , get sick and one day die " Liam looked at Phillips.

" I can live here with you " , " you're a seer you need to be with your pack " , " but seers live longer " , " death is not something we can change " , " Phillips " he held onto his hands.

" being with you is all that matters to me , there's nothing fun about immortality,  if losing it is the price I have to pay to be with you then I am okay " Phillips assured him.

" son Phillips is right , if he can't be Lilac's right hand man and protector then he can't be mortal , this is the smallest punishment Lilac can offer him " Lalita voiced.

" I understand thank you Athena " she just nodded finishing up her plate , Luther gave her his plate as well and she finished it up quickly.

" are you okay? " , " mhhh just exhausted and hungry " , " you just ate two full plates , are you sure you're okay ? " Luther asked again this time putting a hand over her forehead.

" I am fine , I usually eat alot after traveling too far " she explained.

" son do you want to tell her why you're here? " , he looked at her then shook his head.

" didn't you come here for them? " , " no I came cause I missed you " , " oh " she got up " I am going to call it a night I have an early morning " , she walked off and Luther followed her.

" and you're following me why ? " , " you haven't looked at me once since I got here " she turned looking at him.

" what do you want from me Luther? " ," you,  I want you , I crave you , the past weeks without you have been torture you didn't even give me time to process anything you just left.

You left and since you left I have been going nuts without you , I haven't slept and I don't understand why you're running away from me.

When all I want is to just bask myself into your presence ".

" Luther " , " Lilac you're my Mate,  you're half of me without you I am incomplete " he walked close to her resting his forehead on hers.

" please stop running away from me , it's too painful to bare " , Lilac moved away holding her stomach then ran to the closest bathroom and vomited.

Luther followed holding up her hair , he helped her up and flushed out everything.

She cleaned her mouth and they walked out " are you okay? What was that? " , she held on tightly to his shirt " I am hungry , I need food " he nodded and they walked back to the dining erea everyone watching them
