True Death

Calli pov: I took a deep breath and growled. I need to kill this creature here, and now it began to run in fear as it realized I was going to one tap it, and I smirked, "Run." I laughed cheerfully as I laughed, and I began to sprint, chasing after it before turning into smoke and flying after it.

As soon as I caught up, I swung Ricky, and the monster separated, leaving one of its parts in the trajectory of my scythe as it ran away. "What!?" The monster yelled in horror as it was betrayed by its friends, only to be killed not even a second later.

"One down, three more to go..." I spat. I quickly got to the front of them and said, "Howdy!" I yelled at them angrily.

The monster split into three, one on the left, one on the right, and the unlucky one in the middle. "You bastards!!" The middle one yelled as it was killed by me. The two remaining monsters merged once again.

I decided not to give chase anymore and swung Ricky, sending a death wave at them. The monster was hit and began to decay; however, it split, and the last remaining monster laughed and ran away as its friend died. "You bitch!" It screamed as it died.

"You think you can escape?" I questioned I appeared in front of the last monster. It tried to punch me, but I tanked the hit. "Even monsters die..." I laughed

"Have mercy!" I cried out.

"No, you hurt Kiara." I snarled

"Dieeeeeeeee!" I yelled, shooting a beam out of its mouth and hitting me with it at point blank range. I walked through it and punched it, knocking him down.

"You can't plead for your life and attack me." I spat before stomping on its head and digging my heel into its face violently.

"I'm-I'm sorry! Magni told me to do this. We don't want to do this, but if we don't get him rare creatures, he'll kill us!" The monster whined.

"Enough!!!" I yelled, kicking him into the air. I jumped up and stabbed the handle of Ricky through its chest, piercing its heart, but since it can regenerate, I know it won't kill. Luckily, these things don't bleed as well.

"Gah... please... have... mercy!" I gasped

"Tell me, where is Magni?" I asked

"He is in his command room." The monster gasped as it began to adapt to the pain more.

"Alright, what is he doing?" I question

"He is using alchemy to turn rare creatures like that Kiara girl into monsters like us!" The monster claimed

"No, so I just killed three of them!?" I yell

"Yes, but death is honestly what we all want. Every minute we live in this form is agony, and the worst part is there is no reverse," the monster coughed.

"Amelia, try to rewind it!" I told her.

"Hold it," the detective said. She placed her hand on the creature and accessed it calmly. "I can rewind it, however." She was cut off as the monster suddenly began to crack.

"Run!!!" It yelled as it detonated, but Amelia rewound it, so it didn't actually die from detonation.

"Take us to the room." I command

"Alright!" The beast said

"Hold it, Calli!" Kiara said as she made me realize how busted up my clothes were. I have to change while they heal. Kiara had a change of clothes, so I put them on.

I had a headphone in her left ear. And she was wearing a black, tight, futuristic bodysuit with long sleeves. On my left, the bodysuit has the letters "VP" on it, not that I really know what it stands for, and I had long, black boots.

"Stylish!" Kiara said blood was dripping from her nose as she looked at my lover and at how exposed I was.

"Holy sh*t," I said as I realized that I had no pants on right now and she was gawking at me.

"Let's all change..." Ina suggested

Amelia changed, putting her hair into buns; the right one is decorated with a brown checked pattern bow. Ame was also wearing a yellow spacesuit with a see-through helmet decorated with a black bow on the top and decorated with parallel lines and various patches. Amelia had black and white gloves and boots. She removed her helmet and partially unzipped her spacesuit, revealing a sleeveless black undergarment.

"How spiffy!" Gura said

I looked over at the shark girl; her bangs were combed slightly to the left, her side locks have bigger blue lights, she has a thin side ponytail decorated with a scrunchie, and she also has a hairpin resembling a bunny's head but with the mouth and color of a shark. She was wearing a white sailor fuku with outlines in red and blue in the collar and decorated with a blue tie. She had a blue skirt. On her left knee, Gura has two bandages, one of which is shaped like a heart. Gura had white Mary Jane shoes. Also, a yellow vest

"Why are you wearing that!?" Amelia asked

"We like to be casual," Ina claimed.

Ina had a bob hairstyle, her flaps were small, and she had headphones. She wore a white t-shirt with the print of a manga page depicting all five members of Myth, complemented by gray shorts. Ina had Takodachi-shaped slippers, but she removed them to show her feet, and then she put on a big gray hoodie with various decorative patches.

"Woah..." Ame claimed that as she saw the casual wear, we are battling not being casual, but they can do it. I suppose I don't really get how they keep changing their hair so fast, but it's whatever at this point.

"Next stop, Magni..." I said

"To kill him!" Kiara said

"You mean capture, right?" Gura asked

"Well yes," Kiara said.

"Please turn me back into a human!" The monster said to us

"Only if you keep your end of the deal!" I said

We have to finish our mission.
