Inner Conflict

Irys pov: "Princess, are you sad?" Shiori asks

"Just wake Miori up..." I say

Bae hugged me from behind. "You good?" She asked me I sigh and shake my head to just clear my mind a little bit.

"Princess, do you want me to get rid of this rat?"

"No!!" I yell at her.

"Why not? You know that rat doesn't love you and is only pretending to care about you, so I think you should let me take her out, Princess." Shiori said

"No, why would you say that!?" I ask

"Think about it: Rat Senpai only has eyes for Miori since she came here, even after figuring out she betrayed her, which is the reason all of this had to happen."

"Ugh..." I groan

I shook my head as a headache came over me. "This isn't good." I growl

"Do you need help?" Bae asked.

"Why-why do you care?" I angrily hissed.

Bae glared at me and hugged me tightly. "Irys, don't let Shiori get in your head!" She softly spoke to me, but loud enough for me to understand that she was firmly telling me to calm down.

"Irys-senpai, think about it. You have been feeling insecure this whole time, and who has been through one that has helped you through this? Not Bae-senpai, it has been me because you are my princess!" She said

"Shiori Novella, what is your problem?" Bae screamed at the archiver. She let go of me and went to punch her. Yorick wrapped around her arms, stopping her

"You were about to lay your hands on your friend out of anger. Bae-senpai, you really are a horrid woman." Shiori said

"Be quiet; you are just trying to get in my head!" Bae yelled

"See, Princess, it's all about her. The moment she could get away from you, she did because you aren't worthy of her time unless you are Miori."

"That's not true, Irys!" Bae yelled

"Oh, then why were you so concerned about Miori and not Princess? She was in a horrid mental state because of stuff, and you haven't paid her any mind because you lost interest in her." Shiori claimed

"I promise I didn't!" Bae shouted

"I... I... I... Trust Bae," I said.

"You shouldn't..." Shiori scoffed

"Why shouldn't I?" I ask

"You know she is lying. Bae has been angry at you for how you have been acting towards her because you don't think she can be a good leader. She wants a woman who believes in her, and that isn't you, Irys!" She said

"Shiori, I trust you." I say

"No Irys!" Bae yelled, "Trust me!" She said

"I trust you, Bae..." I told her.

These two were tugging on my brain, trying to win one of my sides over a mental tug of war to try to win me over. This is going to mentally break me if this keeps up.

"Think about all your sorrows. You didn't even want me to help Miori, but you are only doing this for Bae, and what has she done in return!?" Shiori asks

Bae doesn't pay attention to me. She's too busy trying to be with Miori; if she wants that, then I'll just get out of her life.

"I can help with that," a voice said.

A woman came down clutching a blade and pointing it at me. She had a mask different from the Oni mask Ayame-senpai wore when we fought.

"Omegaα deems you a problem, so I need to get rid of you," the woman said.
