Kronii pov: "Shiori, that is it?" I ask
"What is it?" She asked
"Just because you were stuck in a chair for years, you want to destroy everything?" I ask
"Well, not because of that exactly." She told me I tilted my head and sighed angrily.
"Then why?" I ask.
"The gods took my friend Ouro Kronii! A heartless serpent like you wouldn't understand the sacrifice of a friend. You are the villain. Time is cold and unforgiving. You are a monster! You don't have someone who you need to protect other than Mooms and Fauna; there is no one else, and you expect me to back down!?" Shiori hissed
The archiver launched at me and used Yorick to sharpen her scissor blades. She clashed with tick and tock, so I pushed her away.
"Shiori, I have sacrificed things. You wouldn't understand the reason I resent things, the reason I began my eternal rivalry with Sana, the reason why I breathe." I said
"My princess can't do what I need her to do if you are in my way, and I don't trust that a woman like you has sacrificed anything." Shiori said
"Tsk..." I spit, "Devour her, Boros!" I shout
She smirked "Vore huh?" She laughed
She began to run as the snake head chased after her. I glared in her direction, watching as Boros infinitely chased her. She couldn't escape; if she kept running, eventually she would get caught. That is what Boros is: the snake that ate its own tail. This is a perpetual loop in a way.
"This snake... I'll kill it!" She screamed
She made a Yorick slice. Boros a bunch, but she shed it's skin, healing all the damage dealt. Shiori was angry.
"Kronii..." a voice said in my head.
"Sally...." I murmer
"Pay attention, Senpai!" Shiori yelled
She somehow got past Boros and was going to stab me in the forehead. Boros was also still chasing her and was going to eat the both of us. "Time stop!" I quickly said, and as I sidestepped, I swear I saw her eyes move. As soon as I resumed time, she swung her scissors, almost cutting my eye out before running again.
"She could see me..." I growl
"That's right, Kronii-senpai, and I have all the knowledge of time powers and how they work, so I will keep adapting to them the more you use them until I get what I want!" She said
"You won't get what you want; you are stupid if you think otherwise!" I say
"Me stupid!? No I gain knowledge every second. My brain could erupt from the amount of knowledge. No, I'm sure I'm actually shortening my lifespan because of how much knowledge I have in my brain. That is why my bookmark exists. I can try to archive some of that data so I don't have an overload, but they took it away for years, so all that kept me sane was the agonizing headaches I suffered." Shiori screamed
"I get it, you suffered..." I sigh sarcastically.
"Kronii, I know you understand things can't be the same as they always were. I know you are power-hungry. You want to get rid of space altogether so you can have more power. You are just a power-hungry vermin!"
"What if I want to put space under my control? What of it? I know I can't just betray everyone like that, and I won't do it." I say
"What if Mooms asked?" Shiori questioned
"Then I'd..." I pause "She wouldn't..." I say
"You need to rethink that..." Shiori says
"Why?" I ask
Boom!!!!
I looked over and saw Bae was sent flying; she was covered in blood, and then Irys walked in.
"Princess!" Shiori laughed
"What did you do!?" I ask
"Meet the devil side of my princess. Now, princess, can you take care of Kronii-senpai for me?" Shiori asks
Irys launched at me and went for a slash. I paused time, but due to the nature of her slash, she was able to move in paused time. "Shit, shit, fuck!" I screamed as I dodged this attack. I could tell this wasn't Irys. She let her demon side take over. She wasn't half angel. She was 100% devil right now.
"Irys, fight it!" I tell her.
"She... is angry at me," Bae said.
"Why!?" I ask.
"She is mad that I was being too nice to Miori," Bae said.
"So it's your fault?" I sigh
"I guess..." Bae said.
"Princess, don't stop, eliminate the rat, and then knock Kronii out!" Shiori shouts
She was putting us all against each other. She really is crazy for no reason. Why is she doing this? For what purpose is she putting us against one another?
I get her reasoning, but still...
"Kronii..." Sally's voice echoed in my head once again. I bit my lip and growled as I heard her voice. This was me being mocked by a voice in my head. Why would I hear Sally? I don't hear Sally...
I don't remember Sally...
"Kronii..." Sally said again.
"Shut the fuck up!" I scream
Shiori touched my head and absorbed knowledge from me.
"Sally?" She questioned
She seemed to have a blockage because of Sally, but why is she in my head? Is this something that I'm doing subconsciously, or is it something that is just happening for another reason?
It doesn't matter; all that matters is that everything is just kind of going wrong suddenly, and I have to stop Shiori or...
Or what am I thinking or...
I want to think about something. What am I thinking? Why am I suddenly thinking about what Mumei is going to do? Why am I thinking about Sana and my revenge?
"Shiori, what is going to happen?" I ask
"Nothing yet; it is just hypothetical, to say the least." Shiori claimed
"Yeah, but what is going to happen??" I ask
"Things," Shiori said.
