Irys pov: "where are the masked girls?" I ask Miori since she was here for them but she refused to answer me
Damn it, why does Bae always have to bring up Miori? That's all she seems to care about, and to her wife, this pisses me off.
"Irys!!" Bae called out
I pulled out my angel and devil sword, pointing it towards Bae. "Stay back!" I threaten angrily, causing her to step back.
Bae furrowed her eyes in disappointment. "Don't be so aggressive!" She scolds
"Why haven't you called Miori!?" I ask
"Because Mio didn't need to be here!" She replied immediately, so I spit at her.
"You wish she was..." I growl
"I don't!!!" Bae snarled in response.
"Oh, then I should leave?" Miori questioned
"Wha-" Bae suddenly said in shock.
"I should leave, right?" Miori questioned
"Why are you here!?" Bae yelled
"Because...I have been here since I showed up her last time, Bae?" Miori stated
"What!?" Bae shouts
"You never left. Wait, how weren't you reset!?" I questioned
"Reset?" Miori questioned
I noticed something glowing on Miori; it was faint, but I could see it, so I lunged forward and stabbed forward, destroying it. "Tracker?" I mumbled as I saw the device shatter.
"Miori, what the fuck!?" Bae yelled
"I'm here to let someone know where the council room is, that's all. However, I haven't been able to contact said person," she explained.
"Wait, so you didn't come here to see me?" Bae questioned
"Well, that isn't 100% true, BaeBae."
Miori seemed genuine about that, but still, she tricked Bae and used her to be able to let those masked people probably...
Miori pulled out the gun. "stand back..."
"You are really going to shoot us!?" Bae shouted in shock as Miori approached me.
"Just Irys," Miori told us.
"Tsk... Like hell you are!!!" I scream
I rushed Miori and went to slash her, but she jumped into the air, dodging the slash. That's when I noticed something slightly: a parasite attached to her forehead. It was small and barely noticeable, but I managed to see it.
"Bae, listen to me. Miori is being controlled by a parasite, but she managed to fight it partially because she cares about you so much." I told her.
"Mio, fight it!!!" Bae shouts
"Bae, fight her, you moron!" I shout
I slashed at her some more, but now that I know she isn't just evil, I am pulling back my slashes so I don't kill her on the spot. I shouldn't be going easy, but Bae likes her too much, so I can't afford to mess this up.
"Angelic Slashes..." I decided to use those since they are less likely to kill and are more shallow cuts than if I were to use my Demonic Slashes, but still, any cuts are bad. In the end, Bae ended up tackling me and saying, "You!!!" I screamed angrily.
"Don't hurt her!!!" Bae cried
"Shut up, I'm trying to help her!" I shout
"Huh!?" Bae questioned
She instantly began to question me since she didn't know what was going on right now in this moment.
Miori shot at us, and I rolled Bae onto the bottom so the bullet only hit me. "Shit," I growled.
"I-Irys!?" Bae shouts
I tensed up, pushing the bullet out so I could regenerate without issues, and then I turned to look at Miori, slashing my sword at an upward arc and slicing the parasite partially. "Damn it, I hesitated!" I shout
"Need some help, princess?" Fauna asked
Suddenly Miori was wrapped in vines, and Mumei walked over to the girl and said, "Cool." She said as she glared at the parasite that she then took her dagger and severed it from Miori's forehead.
"It's going to grow, right?" Kronii asked
"Yeah, but we are leaving now," Mumei said.
She grabbed Fauna and Kronii, entering the portal that Sana had made.
"Mumei!!" I shout
When that owl gets back here, I'm going to box her.
"Ughh...where am I?" Miori asked
"The council room..." Bae responded
I tapped my foot meticulously and sighed, "Shiori!" I called out, hoping she wasn't gone.
"Yeah?" The woman said as she stepped in
"Remember how you told me about your knowledge-absorbing ability? Can you do that to this girl?" I ask
"Irys you are talking to other girls!?" Bae yelled
"Shut up!!! I don't want to hear that from you, and besides, Shiori is just a friend, if even." I shout
Shiori giggled. "Stand back, princess."
I took a step back, and Bae glared at me. "Princess!?" She screamed
"Fauna calls me princess too, shut up!" I angrily shout since Bae is all of a sudden jumping onto me and attacking me for no reason.
"Her memories start here." Shiori said
"What...That's impossible!" I shout
"Well, it's the truth, Irys-senpai, Yabai Princess." Shiori responded
"Can you search deeper?" I ask
"Anything for you, princess," Shiori said.
She did her best again and tried to pull out as much information from Miori as she possibly could, and as soon as she finished, she looked back at me.
"She came into contact with some women; they were obscured, so she doesn't know who they were, but they knew that Bae knew Miori, so they implanted a parasite on her and told her to find Bae."
I slightly bit my lip. "Shiori, can I borrow you?" I asked, "If Advent will allow it," and I added
"I'm the leader, so I can make my own decisions, so sure, I'll let you borrow me real quick," she replied.
I ran and grabbed Shiori, beginning to run. "Sana, I need a portal to the boundary!" I screamed
"Wait Irys!!!" Bae screamed
She lunged at me and went to punch me in order to stop me from going, but as soon as the portal appeared, I sped up going through it with Shiori and manually closed it so Bae couldn't follow.
"Why are we heading to the boundary?" Shiori asked
"You will tell me everything you know."
Shiori laughed. "Okay, my princess," she said.
I will never get used to this.
I could call Shiori but she could want me to do this
