The past few months have flown by, as my and Louis' relationship has grown into an unbreakable bond. Because we simply cannot get enough of one another. We just want to love on each other, therefore we can't seem to take our hands off each other. We have held one other's hearts closer throughout the months as we have trusted each other with them. We have confided in one another about our deepest feelings, struggles, and thoughts. Together, we braved the difficult times and shared our pains with one another. All we wanted was each other; we yearned for each other's scent, taste, and love. That's what completed us when we discovered love for one another.
Our hearts yearned for one another.
Louis helped me in every way possible when I was formally diagnosed with PTSD. Even so, the journey ahead won't be easy. He desired to move through the flames as one entity. He wished to express all of his love and sympathy. Even in the event that he had to hold me every night like a baby who was wailing for their mother. He desired to hold me close and protect me from any harm that might come my way. Both in terms of the body and mind. Louis wanted me to know that he was at my side no matter what. That he would support me despite my ongoing suffering and fears.
His ability to hold me for those little seconds was his way of expressing his love. Whether kissing my head or temple, or whispering sweet nothings into my ear every night. He was concerned as to what was shattering my heart and frightening me because of my own shadow. He calmed me down by talking me through my terrifying memories, which were still making me hide in the corner. That was the love he yearned to sustain me with all the time. All he wanted to do was show me love, because I received it.
For his part, I supported him while he longed for his own child and went through his own heartbreaks. The child, who possessed his father's endearing giggle and radiant grin, was someone he yearned to hold once more. Wanting nothing more than to play trucks and take his son to the park, he desired his son. It was his desire to be his father. There were times when he would arrive from the studio feeling worn out and exhausted. His chestnut hair let me run my fingers through it as he let me climb onto his lap and hold his head against my chest.
He would always firmly put his arms around my waist out of fear that I could disappear for a little while. It dawned on me then that he was as dependent on me as I was on him. As we were dependent on one another. Through our suffering, we both wanted to support one another. So, as I placed kisses on his head, I mumbled the same nothings into his ear. Whispering that we needed to have faith in the future. It would make our eyes shine together as we would kiss with intense desire for one another. But we also want to love on each other.
We were inseparable over those months. His new record had just been released in November, and he was set to embark on his first leg of tour with me by his side. He gained half custody of Freddie, and since then, a lot has transpired. The judge ruled in his favor throughout the lengthy court hearing because he had done nothing wrong. In my case, I was able to provide evidence against my adoptive parents. As everyone sat in shock at the awful torture I was subjected to, I shed many tears and opened up about the horrific recollections.
Louis helped me through the entire ordeal while sitting in the front row, encouraging me. As for my siblings, I don't desire a relationship with them since I have nothing to say to them and I'm not ready for a relationship with them. I'm not mature enough to want those relationships, as I still can't look at their faces without seeing the picture of my parents. My mental and emotionally health is still healing from my past, that I can't think to have relationships with my siblings.
As for Louis during his argument to obtain at least partial custody of his son, with whom he shared a great deal of DNA, a mischievous smile, and an endearing chuckle. The attractive blue eyes and slender lips. We stood up for what was right and helped one another go through our own hell.
Freddie was holding steadily to my hand and had soundproof headphones on over his ears while I stood at the side stage listening to Louis' music. His feet were on top of mine as we swayed to some of the more sentimental songs and broke out into amusing dancing routines to upbeat ones. He kept his hands in mine as we danced. As we performed strange dancing routines, Louis would occasionally glance over to see how we were doing. He would raise an eyebrow and then smile, chuckling at our ridiculous actions. Upon seeing, the audience let out cheers, encouraging Louis while simultaneously speculating as to why he kept glancing back to that particular side of the stage.
As Freddie and I were laughing so hard at each other as we danced crazily, our hair whipping in every direction.
The moment Louis paused his song to engage with his fans, they cheered and screamed at him. However, he only talked when he raised the microphone to his mouth. "I wanted to express my gratitude to each and every one of you for coming out to support me and hear my new music. However, I would want to use this opportunity to introduce you to someone extremely wonderful who entered my life around six months ago." He turned to face me and stated that before approaching me. There was complete silence in the throng as he extended his hand to me.
"Go on, Athens," Freddie urged as he shoved me, and I at last accepted Louis' outstretched hand. Taking great care to bring me out onto the stage with him, his finger entwining ours. My heart hammered as the crowd shouted and roared, but Louis only smiled at me, his eyes so loving that I couldn't help but smile back as I showed him my dimples.
My heart melted for the man who was holding my hand and demonstrating his love, even in the absence of verbal expression. But notice how his smile was infectious and how his eyes gleamed. Louis pulled me in closer, his arm encircling my waist while I encircled him with mine. He took a big breath, anchored me to his side, and raised the microphone to his lips. "I'd love all of you to meet the special young woman in my life, that I call my wife." I felt the tips of his fingers pierce the material of my black dress, which stopped just above my knees, as he revealed his confession and set the crowd roaring.
Louis attempted to continue, but he was forced to laugh at his fans' antics because of how loud the audience was. The day before our flight to America, I had finally met his band, and they were laughing behind us. They were all really kind and hospitable, and they were all excellent musicians. Louis started to quiet the audience so he could speak. "This is Athens and I thought that tonight would be a good night to introduce you all to my better half, to the woman who has stolen my heart the first time I laid eyes on her." With the greatest smile that revealed his own set of dimples, he made his introduction.
"She was standing right there in the crowd, 6 months ago as I had finished my first tour." Louis clarified while pointing in the direction of where he remembered I had stood. Here, at the same stadium where we had our first encounter, was where he planned to play his first show. "Though she didn't know the words to any of my fucking songs, she caught my attention the most." His candid admission caused my cheeks to flush as he revealed all without holding back.
"I wanted you to get to know Athens since she will not only be a part of my son's life, but also mine. But all of yours because she is a part of me, in its whole and she wants to continuously give her all to each and every one of you tonight because she supports me just as much as each and every one of you, whether you are here or not." As I looked out at the applauding and erupting crowd of supporters, Louis remarked, running his thumb in little circles along my waist. "Show her the same love you show me." After a while, he turned to face me and said, pulling the microphone down from his lips.
With everyone screaming and clapping, he pulled me into an embrace and kissed my head nonstop. I buried my chin in his chest and he kissed me tenderly before speaking softly. "Baby, we made it. Me and you. We did it." When we did make it, he grinned and rubbed our noses together while tears welled up in both of our eyes. We succeeded because of love and trust combined. Together, we built a life and possessed a profound affection and bond for one another. Nothing could stop us from having each other as long as we had our love, which had no bounds. "We made it."
