3rd person POV...

2:35 AM, the hands of the cloak that hung onto the wall displayed.

Exactly 14 hours, and non stop working, (if we ignore the short mini breaks for water or snacks or gossip), they had been sitting in the main hall, scribbling through the detailed printouts, collecting information online and making sure to add the links and names of websites in the bibliography of the presentation.

The rain slowly poured onto the city of Seoul, in the night while almost every light of the building of thier apartment was off, and the area of all snoring into deep sleep yet some of many cars rushing on the highway near the street where their apartment building of several floors, maybe of 17 floors, was located, meanwhile, apartment of theirs, the 11th floor, where the raindrops pinged at the window, lights on and a faint sound of the laptops, clicking the buttons hurriedly.

"I wanna be your vacuum cleaner..."
She sang a bit louder than in a while ago, letting out a tired sigh, her best friend who was sitting from across from her, looked up from the scattered research papers.

"Kim Eunji-ssi,You're clearly tired cause that doesn't make any sense." She looked deadpan at her fixing her glasses up onto her nose.

"First, Yes i am deadly tired because we've been sitting here doing research since afternoon and it's night right now." Eunji streched her hands back fighting back a yawn "Second, it's a metaphor used in the song, because the next line is, breathing in your dust." She sang out the last part.

"I will never understand English cept' for the basic conversation to have with a non-korean." Chau mumbled stacking off the papers, being done with the work they had being doing for several hours.

"Planning to sleep?" She asked Eunji to which she knew won't get an answer for.

Eunji was already snoring softly on the table, her hairband already giving up to maintain the bun, her strands of hair falling onto her face, covering a bit of her closed eyes. Mouth slightly gaped, soft snores escaped because of her stuffed nose.

"Plan accomplished already eh?." Her best friend giggled, "but I don't want you to have sore neck and immense body pain when it's your biggest day tomorrow." She sighed and took the deep breath back in, getting prepared to move her stubborn bestie to where she should be sleeping.

They both have been living in the small on bedroom apartment in Seoul, for now over an year, or maybe in a week it would be the end of the second year.

Hang Chau and Kim Eunji were best friends since highschool. It could have been pretty bad for both of them to go through highschool if they didn't have eachother.

One was dealing with social anxiety and trying to get over the bullying she had went through her younger days, then there was the other loosing herself, behind the plastered smile as if stretched out with a blade by the knife of her own family. Insomnia and depression were Eunji's dearest friends, ironically.

Chau after successful tucking her best friend in bed yawned widely, happy about Eunji finally being able to sleep, then again, she knew it was because she overworked herself a lot in the past month
Coming out of the room and looked around the apartment, messy as ever, yet she admired everything, every wall that Eunji painted in her sleepless nights displayed and visible and oh so pretty because of the fairy light both of them had put on the wall, or every photos of both of them and their cherished memories of friendship hanging out on the wall, decorated by Chau. The rest was the small three sitter sofa and one single sitter sofa that was holding a hoop of their clothes, damn they haven't folded them for two weeks straight. There were still books laying scattered on the centre table (infront of the three sitter sofa) one bottle of water, some random snacks they bought and messed up ear plugs. Chau groaned, looking at their centre room of the house, lowly thinking they have a lot to do this weekend and not at all chilling was on the list.
