(Third person's POV)
When Eunji and Chau climbed up the few steps to get into the huge silver and gray-black tiled building where both of them regularly come, Chau felt her body buzzing with some sort of emotions that she knew is more than excitement. The pain from Eunji's feet had almost vanished,as if evaporated by the way both of them were too focused on their thoughts and discussions about speaking in the meeting with the bosses of their company, but still the swollen blue skin couldn't be ignored fir too long, so Chau made a mental note to mend it as soon as they reach home, because she knew Eunji will forget about it, either in happiness or disappointment, depends of the approval. Once they both signed themselves in and wished the receptionist (who was also their good friend) a good morning and recieving good luck wishes from him, they rushed to the elevator with all they're important portfolios and other files out in their hands.
Right when elevator stopped with a 'ping' noise as they reached their floor, they immediately dashed to they're respective desks to re arrange everything in proper and final order and attach their respective ppt in the mail letter,to send it to their head of department. It was just a mere task to do before going into any meeting, so that there wouldn't be any risk of the tims of owners of the company got to waste. As soon as the Hod approved both of their mails, finalized their schedule for the day, and sent the feedback as "doing your best as always I see, good job and good luck with the meeting!" Eunji smiled and looked accross her desk area towards Chau, giving eachother a thumbs up, knowing fully well that they are half way successful and the win was near.
Eunji took a last glance at the photo cards sticking on her desk wall, one was of hers with chau and one next was of her brother's, the few other's were of some buisness party and their cherished memories of the company colleagues.
With a deep breath and cool mind, with eachother by their side, Chau and Eunji walked back again into the elevator to reach two floors above, and get to the meeting hall.
Eunji connected the pendrive to the pc that was connected to the projector, in the empty room, as they started arranging things in order, soon it displayed the first slide of their ppt,
"Cultural trip to the world with all the authenticity. The soul of Seoul, the pride of South Korea and your best buddy as a tour guide, -TripSouls-"
Chau checked if all the photocopies of their portfolio was correctly placed in each desk for their bosses to refer while they presented. Once they were sure that everything was set into place, they gave a small sequel and hugged eachother excitedly and parted to see if they still looked human enough to be presented."We look decent and elegant,oh I love the contrast!" Chau chuckled and stood near the door while Eunji stood near the white board where the light of the projector was splattered, "Do you realise that's the first thing you said almost after an hour."
"We were quite for that long huh?" Chau wondered loud, but soon they heard faint foot steps so they slipped back into their formal personalities.
It was funny how much Eunji had been planning for this from so long, and she was finally here, ready to unlock another door to get closer to her freedom, well, she knew that it still was tough, because the constraints her father put onto her, like tied up in chains, a long one though, because she reached till here. It was harder to get rid of those constraints, so much hard to break off and be free. So she fought battles almost everyday, smaller battles in her head and a lot more wars with the world, but overall, she was tiny bit happy, that she was atleast fighting back and not for anyone but herself, that she was able to live an actual life with her best friend, with a job of her dreams that fulfilled her passion and mark a tick on all the bucket list she had, all of those success, she deserved and earned, not just handed by her father. It marked her strong, it made her capable of doing whatever the heck she pleases, because that's the power that comes with being independent. She didn't had to beg her father to get a day out alone, she didn't had to face people just as a tag or a show of of her dad, with being known only as her father's daughter,no,she had her own name, own identity, and her own soul.
