A Little Bit of Time

The Kanima

When I woke up Derek was gone but then I saw a note on my bedside table.
The note was from Derek and it said that he had gone to do something and he would be back later. When I read the note I instantly knew he was doing something that involved the supernatural. So I decided to hangout with Scott and Stiles since I hadn't seen them for awhile. I got dressed and went downstairs to grab my car keys. As I was doing that I decided to call Stiles and let him know I was coming over. When I told him I was coming over he said okay and told me that Scott was already there and they were about to leave. So I told him to come pick me up instead since we only lived about twenty minutes away from each other. He ended up agreeing knowing I could now kick his ass if he pissed me off. About twenty five minutes later there was a honk outside letting me know Stiles and Scott were here even though I could hear them pull up to my house. When I reached the car I raised my eyebrow at Stiles.
"What?" Stiles asked.
"You do realize I can hear when you pull up to my house right?" I asked being slightly sarcastic causing Stiles to frown.
Still frowning Stiles answered,"I forgot that you're now a werewolf." When he said that I just rolled my eyes while laughing along with Scott who had been watching the whole thing with an amused look on his face.
"So what are we doing today?" I asked curiously.
"We're searching for the kanima." Stiles replied casually as if what he said was an everyday thing.
"A kani-what?"
"A kanima you know a giant lizard looking thing with a tail, rows of sharp teeth, and claws with venom that paralyzes you." Stiles answered back.
"Wait Derek didn't tell you about any of this?" Scott questioned as if he was surprised.
"No he didn't and I think I need to have a talk with him and tell him he needs to let me know when weird supernatural creatures are running around Beacon Hills that way I can be prepared incase I come across it." I muttered back while huffing angrily.
"Well you may get the chance to tell him real soon," Scott said while chuckling and scratching the back of his kneck,"because we're more than likely going to run into him today."
After Scott said that I sat back in the seat and crossed my arms angrily while thinking about all the things I was going to do to Derek when I got my hands on him. About three hours later we pulled up to a club.
"Stiles are you sure you're straight?" I asked.
"Yeah why?" He questioned back at me.
Chuckling I answered his question,"Because this is a gay club."
After I told him that he sat there gaping for a minute before shaking his head and getting out of his car with Scott and me following after him.
