A Little Bit of Time

The Bite

I can't believe my dad is doing this to me. I should've known he didn't care. How am I suppose to tell my mom what he is? What should I do? Should I tell Derek or should I see if my dad will carry out the plan? What am I thinking? I have to tell Derek because he would want to know what's going on.

After about an hour and a half of driving I finally made it to Derek's house.
"Derek!" I yelled as I came into the house looking for him in a panic. As I was looking for him I finally found him in the training room with Scott, Stiles, Isaac, Boyd, and Erica.
"What?" Derek asked annoyed.
"I found out why my dad is here. He's here because he is planning on handing me over to his alpha to have me bitten. Oh and this is the same alpha that killed my brother." I said in a rush. As I was speaking I noticed Derek's eyes widening in shock.
"Your dad is a beta?" He asked.
"Yeah I was surprised too."
"How did you find this out?"
"Well you see when I got home he was leaving so I decided to follow him and we ended up going to this wooded area that I've never been to. And as I was following him I found out his plan."
"Well what's his plan?"
"He is planning on knocking me out and then taking me to his alpha so his alpha can turn me oh and the alpha killed my brother because my brother wouldn't hand me over to him." I said the last part with tears in my eyes as I started to blame myself for my brothers death. As saw Derek look at me with soft eyes before he embraced me in a comforting hug.
"It's not your fault so don't blame yourself. Your brother loved you and was protecting you it was his decision to not hand you to the alpha that killed him but your father is a coward he should be protecting you not handing you over to that bastard."
"I know it just hurts knowing that my brother could've lived if he had handed me over so what are we going to do about my father's plan?"
"You, Scott, and I will go and confront your father together tonight and then we'll give him a chance to tell us where the alpha is so we can kill him."
"Okay."

2 Hours Later...
"Are you ready to go?" Derek asked me.
"Yeah I'm ready."
"Well in that case let's go."
I was so nervous and scared. What do I do if the plan goes wrong? What if I end up getting bit tonight god I'm so scared just thinking about it. I was so consumed in my thoughts that I didn't even notice the concerned looks Derek was giving me until he asked me if I was alright.
"Yeah I'm fine why?"
"You're giving off this unsure feeling." He said.
"Yeah I can sense it too." Scott butted in causing me to glare at him that said you're not helping.
"I'm fine I was just wondering what we do if the plan doesn't go as we planned it." I answered honestly.
"The plan will go as planned." Derek said as though he was also reassuring himself.
"We're here." I thought as we pulled into my driveway. We just walked through the front door when I noticed my dad stalking towards me causing me to step behind Derek. Derek had also noticed my dad stalking towards us causing him to wolf out and grab him by the neck and slam him against the wall causing my father to gasp out in surprise since he wasn't expecting it.
"Where is your alpha," Derek demanded. All my dad did was smirk as if telling us he wasn't going to say anything.
"If you don't tell us we're not just going to kill him but we'll kill you too," Scott piped in. My dad looking at him surprised that he said that.
"It's true though," I answered causing my dad to look at me," not only will we kill your alpha but we won't hesitate to kill you either."
My father finally cracked and told us exactly where he was in the woods. We were finally near where my father had said where the alpha was and Derek had just shushed us making me realize that we were actually about to come face to face with the alpha that had killed my brother only several months back. Derek being the dumbass that he is decided to just attack the alpha causing Scott to attack as well. After about twenty minutes of them fighting the alpha called out my name causing me to step into the clearing as well and what I saw almost brought me to tears. The alpha had knocked out Scott and held Derek in a way that if he wanted to he could kill Derek.
"Now Chloe if you let me give you the bite I'll let your mate and his mutt go." The alpha offered making me realize what I had to do.
"Fine but you have to let Derek and Scott go first." I said with determination causing Derek to look at me with a look saying don't do it but all I did was mouth I'm sorry to him. After that I looked at the alpha and he threw Derek towards Scott and ran at me and bit me before Derek could do anything. The bite was painful and it made me feel as though my veins and blood were on fire. It was so painful that I hadn't even noticed that I was on the ground screaming while Derek snapped the alpha's neck in fury. I saw Derek and Scott's faces right before everything turned black.
